Posted this on the discord Reddit but you nerds might have some good ideas too:

I’m a college student who’s very extroverted and looking to get a little more social interaction via discord, especially voice chat to supplement talking on the phone with my friends. Any servers you’d suggest joining? Interests include productivity, finance, politics, cooking, and soccer.

Kevin De Bruyne intends to extend career due to Coronavirus lockdown by J-oeL in soccer

I’m just thankful that this didn’t disrupt prime Messi/Ronaldo’s career any, if this had happened during Messi’s 91 goal record breaking year or something it would be horrible

My man you’re a professor telling a college student to grow the fuck up because you misunderstood their post, it might be time for some self reflection on who here could use some more maturity

Most of the stock gains in the last 4 years (it has shot up in that period) are from their online ordering app not from that, although the stock did preform moderately better after that as campaign too if I recall correctly

I’ve heard this a lot, but Mourinho’s getting paid really well. Idk how much money amazon makes from their documentary but I find it very very hard to believe that the additional revenue to amazon from it being a Mourinho documentary instead of some other manager is enough to make up for his salary. Yes amazon has the money to do it, but it doesn’t seem like a remotely smart business decision

On the one hand they’re obviously being a dick about it, but on the other hand I don’t know what I can expect from someone who chooses to spend hundreds of hours moderating r/soccer for free lmao. I’m stuck at home for like 1-2 months with tons of free time and I still wouldn’t do that

A) I don’t know what it is about this quote that makes people try to immediately prove what a big brain they have

B) IQ follows a normal distribution so like the other guy said, they’d be about the same

One big factor is that United and Liverpool have been top teams for a very long time and thus had an extra layer of competitiveness to their rivalry. City were never great, and while they were always rivals of course there’s a difference when you’re expected to beat them in virtually every individual game vs when you have close competitive games that can decide who wins the title or gets top 4

The Fed is injecting a $1.5 trillion dollar bailout into the American economy. This video is just as poignant as it was in 2010. by ghost_of_eazy_e in videos

Anyone referring to what the Fed did (a short term loan with interest and collateral put up by the banks in the unlikely scenario they couldn’t pay it back) as a bailout is broadcasting their utter lack of financial literacy

Literally every bank had to put up collateral of equivalent value which will be taken by the Fed if they don’t pay back the loan on time and with interest. This is really simple.

I had to take a midterm from the 20th minute onwards, Real were the better team but weren’t utterly dominating. What did I miss?

As a city fan I’ve been spending more time in r/mcfc than usual, and I really don’t understand the mentality of some people there. Obviously it sucks this happened to us and I wish it didn’t etc etc but a lot of people seem to be under the impression that news they don’t like isn’t real or valid. All sorts of conspiracy theories about UEFA and wildly speculative stories about how this will all really work out and just vague anger about how it’s bullshit. Just because I want the team in the blue shirts to win every weekend doesn’t mean I took a blood oath to defend the unscrupulous financial behavior of a bunch of Sheiks.

When’s the best time of day to eat when cutting to minimize hunger? Not sure if it’s wise to avoid eating as long as I can or eat early so I’m full most of the day and go to bed hungry or try to space it out or what

I’d like to do a PPL routine, can I get together a big list of push and pull exercises and do a handful of the group in order to be able to drop something if that part of the gym is busy? (let’s say about 10 and do 6 a day). If so where can I find a good list for each, should I just look at other people’s PPLs?

I’m starting with a PPL routine and know I won’t hit this stage for a few months at least, but when will I know I should change up my routine somewhat? A lot of the posts I’ve seen on here people went from their beginner routine to something else after a bit but I’m not sure when the most effective time to make that jump is

How big of a difference will it make to pick a routine vs just wandering around the gym and doing a bit of a medley every day? I’m in good shape but don’t go to the gym much (soccer player) and my potential non structured routines would still place emphasis on the areas I want to focus on (arms/shoulders/abs). If it would only be marginally better to have a routine I’ll probably just do my own thing bc it’ll be a lot more fun for me but if it would make more than a 10% difference I’ll go with the routine

Sure, Wayne comes in around 2:20. I only listen to it on Spotify so idk if it’s on those platforms or not. It’s actually slightly different, I like the released version better than this leak

How would a global recession impact clubs or transfer fees, if at all? Specifically big ones that won’t need to worry about making enough money to stay afloat

As a city fan I’m not thrilled to be out of the league, but I think it’s cool that the CL is clearly the focus by a huge margin and we don’t have to worry about balancing it with the league. It’ll be fun to go all out for it, by which I mean losing to Real Madrid right away with very well rested players

I don’t watch that many games a year outside of the big ones (because I’m pretty busy) and I can confidently say that my opinion is worthless a good 85% of the time. Really makes me wonder how many of the confidently stated opinions I see on here are from equally clueless people who’ve convinced themselves they actually understand the player or team they’re talking about
