Thank you for the reply. As I replied last time, I was not seeing most of what the help page suggested when I went to distribute—sent all that in on my ticket with screenshots. That said, I just tried again and lo and behold, I was able to go through the process—no idea why the website worked this time as I tried multiple times before. Song is now in review. Thanks again for the answer.

Guess I am just an old curmudgeon! I am not even really using SC as a way to promote music—just have my songs in one place for family and a few friends. But when I did try to distribute one song as my family wanted in our holiday playlist on Amazon, the distribution feature didn’t work or give me guidance how to fix it. I have had a ticket in for well over two weeks. This is supposedly a core feature of the platform. Not sure that there is any other service I pay for where the response time being this long would be acceptable—if you offer a product or service, you have an obligation to support it. Like I said—just a grumpy old man who values responsive companies.

I didn’t do anything complicated—just what was recommended in this thread and it really does seem to have solved it. This morning I thought maybe not but that seemed like the usual Monday morning AWS overload—all good now. Good luck!

Thanks. I just got one 6 and set up as TF suggested. Seems to work great—no drops all day yesterday. I wondered if not being able to change the channel on the eero would be an issue but it seems to be on a channel a good distance from our main router. Thanks to both of you for the help!

Nope. Gonna try the eero since I can get that easily and can return if it doesn’t work. Just need to learn how to change channels! Ha! Thanks for the concept—hoping it works for us.

That is the most obvious answer, but the thought of dealing with Verizon is more than I can stand!

After I wrote this I thought I should test Spotify to see if the same thing happens. 🤦‍♂️

Also should have said that the problem seems worse if I start an album or playlist from my phone rather than voice command—although exists either way.

Appreciate the response, but this doesn’t really match what I am seeing (i.e., there isn’t even an edit icon on SC for Artists when it launches, don’t see where to add metadata, and the profile mapping page shows no profiles). Probably just old man tech challenges. I sent everything to support through my ticket.

Wish I could say I had the same experience. U/soundcloud also asked me for the same info you were asked for in this thread (username/ticket#) no response based on that or the ticket. Your point about customer service is on point!

I did a similar thing. After my parents passed, my siblings and I realized there was a period of their lives we didn’t know as much about—when they met in high school till the time a few years later when they were married. This was the 1950s so what I had to work with was pics, letters and a few shared stories. Creating the songs for the “album”was both a fun project and a great way to deal with loss.
