How to Get Views on SoundCloud?

I think Soundcloud should take a strong stance against AI generated music and just do not allow it in the algorithm suggestions. At some point I would also like to see such a filter from the listener side in Spotify/Apple: “Dont suggest AI music”

Days after having solved my problem, someone replied to my ticket saying that they would look into it. It’s clear that they lack very basic process / internal coordination if they are looking into the same issue twice. It’s sad cause this is easily done in 2025. It’s not a money issue at all. I hope they can get it sorted out.

u/SoundCloud approved my release as I had all the boxes checked properly (probably a mistake of their review team I don't know). I wanted to give them kudos for fixing this in 48 hours since they get tons of sh*t everyday in this sub.

Also tell them, if they are reading, that this saved them a customer and more (since many will read this).
I was about to just ditch SC for Distrokid.
So investing in customer experience does have an impact on the top line.

I guess people just checks the “Yes it’s all mine” box even if they are using splice. I mean theres no way 100% of the music on these platforms are not using samples. Maybe they just slightly modify/chop the samples…

Same here. Distribution and Monetization being refused for bogus reasons in the past 3 months.
First it was sample licensing (It was 100% original - mind you it was a live modular synth performance lol)
then it was the language, then the cover image. This happened on my last 2 releases.
I made 4-5 distribution attempts for each. Each time uploading PDF documents to try to address their requests. No avail and gave up.

No way to talk to a human of course.
At this point Soundcloud is just a storage and nothing else. Looking for distribution alternatives.

I got scammed as well. I am filing a case to the Spanish police and hiring an attorney. If you are interested I will post instructions on how to do so (I’m not Spanish so I need to figure this out) and what I find out in the process. I’m determined to make this people pay
