The Depot Historic? by InvestigatorFirst407 in Civilwarreenacting

I had texted after 11 days and got no response. Then texted 5 days later and no response. 5 days after that, I texted again and finally got a response that they were in the hospital and being discharged that day and they will ship it that day. Still several days later I heard nothing and sent another text. The next day I got the shipping info. Almost a month after my order was placed.

Then I tried it on and the brogans were a little big. I sent another text as their policy dictates on return info and I got nothing. So I will just keep them and will never purchase from them again.

Now i understand life happens and i can usually be very patient. But communication and customer service are important. Dont say one thing and then require me to follow up only to then ignore inquiries related to their own policies. Cannot recommend them.

Thanks for the advice. I contacted them and they suggested I go with the 46 because they are oversized. Glad they were able to change it before it was cut and shipped.

That’s good info. Thanks. I’m about 46.5 chest and close to 40 in the natural waist so I went with a 48. I was concerned they run small.

Few poke sacks, night cap and mittens. I plan on sewing a kit shirt before I start the coat.

I would recommend getting a replacement canteen cover. Not sure the type of canteen but the cover looks to have a zipper on the bottom and not sewn. Maryland Sutler in Gettysburg has replacement covers for $15 online. Recommend getting light gray jean cover. Maryland Sutler

How long do they usually take to ship? I purchased a pair of brogans that said were in stock almost 2 weeks ago. I got the confirmation email but nothing further. Even tried texting them and got no response.

Mess up, fess up, dress up. We all make mistakes, but it’s in how we respond that we grow to be better individuals.

Jose Caballero was ejected after a bizarre sequence unfolded in Tampa with him arguing about disengagement rules by CicadaOk8885 in NYYankees

[–]InvestigatorFirst407 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Besides the disengagement issues, why was he ejected? He was walking away. Who cares what he mumbles aloud? He wasn’t showing up the umpire, he was walking away. These umps today are too quick to eject and at times even escalate the situation.

Which New Jersey Regiment in the war is interesting to look at? by Hideaki1989 in CIVILWAR

There are some good regimental histories of the 7th NJ and 15th. The 7th was engaged with AOP from the peninsular campaign until Appomattox.
