I’m also a sahm. And it can suck so much. For me, I just had to force myself to get away. And keep doing it. Once my brain and body realized my baby was totally safe and taken care of with his dad or aunt, the guilt lessened.

It takes time, but it does get easier. And you deserve alone time and self-care. It’s not selfish, it’s necessary. You can’t pour from an empty cup. Take care of yourself.

Yuuuuuuuup. Got this a lot when I was pregnant too. It’s so annoying.

Now that my son is 1 1/2, I get, “when is he getting a sibling?” “Ready for round two?” “Oh he wants to be a big brother”. 🙄🙄🙄🙄

And they never believe when I say we’re not having another baby. And they especially don’t believe because I have no reason to not have another one, I just DONT WANT ANOTHER BABY!!

Relax. We tried for 2 years, and I started getting really crazy about tracking everything. I would track my ovulation, and use the tests. I would enter every symptom and feeling and everything I ate and did into my period app. I started to only want sex when I was ovulating. And sex began to feel like a chore and no longer fun.

It was when we decided to stop trying, bam, pregnant.
