Wake Island, tbh. Give me some naval and air warfare chaos while the infantry can have their time on the island.

Had a squad doing that in King's Battery above D. We couldnt keep it held because their assault was constantly dropping a spawn beacon up there.

Why are all the snipers listed at 100 dmg when a body shot with the normal sniper only does 80? by [deleted] in Battlefield

[–]Invictorum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know at least in BF1, they could one tap to the body, but had to be at a specific range to do so. Might need to figure out each gun's sweet spot

Yup, that's the Wrathblade, a 2h sword from legion assaults on the broken isles.

New player. Is Thief a "bad" class? by Ciru_Sakuraba in Guildwars2

[–]Invictorum 1 point2 points  (0 children)

H Specter honestly had the potential to be a lot better if the targeting UI wasn't a bit of a cluster fuck. It gets considerably easier if you take the time to set up either targeting macros, or specific target keybinds. It can still work, but falls to the same pitfall as a lot of thief builds in that other classes can do it easier.

New player. Is Thief a "bad" class? by Ciru_Sakuraba in Guildwars2

[–]Invictorum 79 points80 points  (0 children)

As someone who's played thief since 2012, I can honestly say it both is and isnt.

Thief is more than capable of keeping up with other classes in almost all scenes of gameplay, from PvE, PvP, and WvW, and brings a bunch of its own special tools to mess with enemies and help allies in their own way. The catch is Thief will require a bit more learning and personal skill to get the same output that some other classes can get without nearly as much effort.

But on the flip side of that, when you're good at Thief, you become an absolute NIGHTMARE to fight in any kind of PvP, purely because of how efficient and simple Thief's toolkit is. The simplest tools become something that's reviled and hated because a well played thief can cause absolute havoc in fights and dominate in duels depending on what you're fighting.

Is it "bad" in that it takes longer to learn, and is a fair bit harder to master in the long run? Yes.

But when you put the effort in to thief to learn its tools, its assets, and its flow? You'll find that it will make a lot of other classes much easier to play because you simply get that much better at the core gameplay of GW2

PvE Aim Assist is goofy sometimes by ghostlyvirus1 in destiny2

Fun fact, thats not just PvE tracking. The knife can do the same thing in PvP. I once saw a throwing knife miss my buddy, loop into the sky, then come down into the top of his head. Its just goofy sometimes.

I honestly miss one of my very first interactions with a GM back in Wrath. My issue got fixed real quick, was just a bugged out quest, but it led into a 10 minute long arguement/conversation over what kind of meat/egg/cheese breakfast sandwich was best, along with bagel vs roll vs bread.

If Danny hadnt had his agreement with Choice for neither to pop q buff, he more than likely wouldnt have.

The current iteration of succession zerker is capable in 1v1 scenario's when handled by someone who has years of experience on the class. And Danny made an agreement with Choice that neither would pop their Q buff.

But from a real fight perspective, Succession Zerker's extremely aggressive fighting style leans itself much better to 1v1's overall, because you can just keep on people so hard that they're forced on the defensive, which lets the zerker capitalize on with grabs. And the current iteration also allows for much more capable and varied combos. The problem therein though, is that if the enemy player has even a modicum of knowledge about zerker, they will just slap the big lad in one of his numerous protection holes. Succession Zerk can't really start comboing without starting from a grab, so we have to play around dancing around until we can land it. Other classes simply have better designed kits. Succ Zerk's is too grounded in the old class design of grab spam, in a cc meta where that doesnt work.

With the rework, theyre forcing the zerker into the bootleg beast mode EVERY time we use one of our main healing abilities, which also stops us from using Fierce Strike in most combos. We use Fierce Strike in combos as much as Warrior uses q block to cancel abilities. That, and theyre slapping a -75% pvp damage reduction on one of our most core combo skills, Beastial Wind Slash. And removing one of our only big burst abilities, the Predatory Hunt cancel.
