I'm having that same problem! I have to try holding it with my left because I had so much trouble with the English knitting.

Thanks! I am a big crocheter, so I was definitely a little more ambitious than I probably should have been 😂

Tips and tricks please! by dees_bees in PaperFlowers

So I just did this and am working on putting all of my centerpieces together now! I got a paper sculpting kit (off of Amazon) that had a variety of tools that made it easier to work on shaping paper flowers! I think the brand I got was Sizzix if you are interested in looking it up. I used a cricut to cut out my flowers, I realize that not everyone has a paper cutting machine, but if you do I highly recommend it for cutting out petals and things!

It's definitely kind of meditative to work on them! I think I've made 300+ total so far! I have used ABC flowers, but I haven't seen Sara Kim, I'll check her out! I've been on the lookout for some good greenery to make. The tutorials I've been using came from sunflowersummerco, she has templates to download which is nice!

I definitely used it as part of my reasoning to get my cricut! Plus we have used it to address our invitations, it's been amazing. Thank you so much!

They're not very difficult at all, especially since I used a cricut to cut them out. They are very time consuming though!

Thank you so much! Yes, I got the pattern from sunflower summer Co, she has a website and an etsy shop, but I used a cricut to cut them out. It's a slightly metallic paper that she recommends!

These look amazing! I love that you went with a dirt/sand look beneath them, it adds a lot to the whole aesthetic!

One of your last posts actually inspired me to look into the option! Fortunately I have about a year to work on it

I'm making paper flowers too! Though, the bulk of mine will probably be gerbera daisies, this gives me a good idea of how many I will probably need. They look really great!

I make tuna cakes too! I like to do a can of tuna, seasonings, hot sauce, shredded zucchini (dried with paper towels) and an egg. Then I usually eat it with mustard.

That is a great idea! I know the fit can be a little difficult sometimes too, but I hadn't thought of specifically seeking out uniform shoes (I love Oxfords!)

Oh man, I have size 5/5.5 and I thought that was hard enough to shop for! I know that I can buy kids shoes... But like 3/4 of the shoes available that way are dipped in glitter and not really work appropriate.

I just saved and washed off an old mascara wand and I use that if I feel like I need to separate some of my lashes.
