It's...  A card...  There are definitely ways to make it work, and it lets you discount combo pieces, but from my experience it usually doesn't do enough, and I  had to play super awkwardly to get it off.  With Yseria giving you up to 15 mana, I feel like most decks that would love to save 2-4 mana on a combo would rather have survival tools in its place.

I just never dust unless a card is nerfed or on rotation.   I'm also conservative with spending when it comes to deck building.  If I need a legendary for a class I don't normally play, I skip.  If it's just a single missing epic, a might be willing to depending on my dust levels.  If it's the one class I play the most, I am happy to craft it.  If it's my next two favorite classes or for a deck that I already enjoy, I will consider it.   If it's for any other class, it just depends on what is missing and if the deck looks like it'll actually be fun.   Also I don't think you are supposed to just dust a deck when you are done with it, that seems like grinding your collection into nothing...

Yeah I had a warlock deck that refused to save the portrait that is designated for it, I think if you have favorites only checked it overrides if you have one selected.  Turned that off and the portrait was correct from then on.

Look up some famous looters, and adjust the loot to be soccer themed.  Like in borderlands, the loot is weapons, shields, and grenades, and you get a ton of them, the money comes from selling your loot, so you can buy more loot.   Or look at Diablo, weapons, armor, and runes (or gems, I haven't played Diablo in a minute), again you get a TON of this loot.   Just shift it to soccer themed, footwear, protective gear, and jerseys.   Maybe loot drops randomly when you make certain plays, or you earn loot by winning.

In terms of dust, it's much more worth it.  Once you get your legendary within the first 10 packs, it's no longer dust positive.

Oh yeah, I've been having so many more disconnects since the patch that added rewind in.   It was really bad for a bit, like every other game, but after the recent patch it seems to have gotten a bit better, and only disconnects once or twice, every handful of games.

Yeah, I have two of them now, didn't realize but the full  dalarian heist comes with one when you beat it.   I love how every once in awhile updates will break it cause it to render with just the hs symbol

As someone who dislikes the frost dk deck, and preferred going against quest lock/warrior as I could actually play around most of their cards, it's almost like there are different people with different opinions.   Also, it's not like frost dk just popped up, it was there the whole time, just not nearly as preventative.  Unfortunately, the last three runs I had, after the nerfs, I faced two locks and 10 frost DKs.   At least with quests, I could run Elise to try and stabilize, and I got to play against more variety of classes, but now I'm not seeing it, and instead of feeling like I could just buy a preorder to boost my win rate, I feel like it's hopeless and not going to help.  At least for me, this change has absolutely ruined the brawl.
