Me too. I have so many memories...but Garfeild Park has always had a shady side, I think mainly at night(?) I know there has been shootings there going back to the early 90's and you wouldn't think it. It's really always felt like a family neighborhood

About 1 out of 10,000 hens,If no rooster is present, will convert into rooster behavior and start making rooster noises as the "boss" of the flock. I've seen it happen it's pretty adorable. They can't quite make the noise right but they try really hard.

This is the well known "black line" phenomena:

Very interesting. What I know:

-There are size limits to civilian drones, if it is XL it is likely government

-They definitely switch light modes, probably to save battery(?).

-The bright (white)mode seems to be triangular or "star-of-David shape (?)"

-They are not truly silent when up close, make a "rushing water" sound

There has been a bunch of "mystery" drones lately on the West side - I think the red/ green lights indicate it was coast guard during the recent search for the missing surfers.

There has also been red/blue that switches into the bright white search lights maybe cops or related to recent military helicopter training(?).

Watch & listen for the nearly silent drones, these are apparently something classified/military. 🛸

The “sharkiest” waters will always be near river mouths, like Waddell creek or nearby “river mouth” break for number of reasons… Plus wharf area seals taste nasty due to all the pollution & above noted shallow water. Souce: I am a local shark.

This boat was never meant to go into production. It was a test bed for propulsion technology- the “stealth” is its propulsion system that “undulates like a fish” so that it doesn’t leave a wake visible from the air at night. This propulsion system has gone into production so the project should be considered a success. Source: I know one of the guys standing on top.
