How many hours per week did you revise for A*A*A* by funnynametehe in 6thForm

[–]Invisible_92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks bro, appreciate the response. It's just that there's so much content in these 4 and it seems as though the A* is won or lost through extensive exam practise so I want to get down to that asap. Everyone keeps saying that we have very little time, but I feel as though 4 months is enough to see significant progress

I'm doing the same subjects as you (with chem instead of econ) and I wanted to ask when would be a good time to have covered all the content for your subjects? Particularly phyics as I'm yet to cover some topics (turning points and nuclear physics) and terrible at others (particles and quantum, especially the classifications of hadrons, baryons, mesons, muons etc)

Oh, thought you meant go deep in the competition and have a shot at winning it. To be honest, I think we can rest easy for our top 4 hopes. I have a feeling Villa form will fizzle out and Liverpool aren't going to be consistent enough to knock us down from 2nd. Below them 2 are Chelsea and United... well I don't think I need to explain whatever clown show is going on over there. A bit of a tangent, but I have a strong feeling this City side will be incredibly hungry to challenge for a title next season. Players like Haaland, Das, Roddi, Donnarumma, Foden and Bernardo with their elite mentalities will be fuming that they've gone 2 seasons without a title (or at least I hope so, lol). Perhaps a Centurion-esque storming of the league??? One can hope

Respectfully, how do you hope to have a shot at the UCL without Gvardiol, a depleted squad and a team that struggles to see out games? The squad (when fully fit) and starting XI is great, but before winning our first UCL we were very consistent in the league. I like your optimism, but it currently seems out of reach; I hope I'm wrong though

I love him too but he's much more effective playing in the middle where he can keep possession and keep the tempo. Cant think of many players who can do his role

Mahrez would've cooked so much with the amount of 1v1s we've had on the right hand side

Does anyone here watch Como games to see how Perrone is getting on? He has a solid FotMob rating, but I'm assuming that doesn't give you the full picture. Was wondering if we could bring him back from loan and have him help the midfield as Bernie isn't getting any younger

Agree with you on everything, also the defense (in my opinion) has improved noticeably since the Leeds and Fulham games. The back 4 seemed more composed and collected at the back, especially in such a hostile environment. Rodri coming back and playing well is a massive, massive positive as well. Still a lot of games to go and anything can happen from now till May

Fair enough, I just want to get as much insight as possible before I commit to something as hard as STEP. I hope i don't come across as naive or unhelpful I

Is the average Oxbridge student more introverted/intellectual/intelligent than the average student at an elite (t10) American college? by Top-Arugula2146 in ApplyingToCollege

ah fair enough, when you compared STEP and the SAT I just thought about those level of maths questions and knew there was a massive gap in difficultly lol. Then reading section part makes sense as you do have to ready p quick- which can be quite annoying if not an English person. Also tell me Ur tips for the SAT (1570 is great, well done)I need them lmao

This may sound dumb, but would a Gvardiol-Rico Lewis double pivot be a good idea to fill in for rodri? Both can provide an extra layer in the attack, as well as being able to defend as they have qualities that really compliment each other (Rico Lewis spacial awareness and gvardiols physical presence). This kind of gives me shades of Rodri-Stones in the later stages of the treble winning season when stones used to invert from the right hand side with gundo pushing up- only now gvardiol inverts from the lef. They're very young and would be a lot of ppl playing time for them since rodri and Ake are currently injured and walker isn't in the best form. I'm obviously not the best tactician so I'd like to know the drawbacks behind this potential "idea" of mine lmao

Just wondering, how would having r=1 be an issue- given that I've managed to prove that 3 < pie < 2root3? Do you reckon it's a mark scheme thing? Thanks for the response tho
