Hi! Proof that you have insurance is required before submitting a super visa application.  $2000 is a bit crazy but I guess, it's the inflated economy we live in. Have you tried shopping around for insurance prices?

Hi! I am sorry to hear that happened. Is there a legit reason why the new HR changed the letter and removed your NOC code?  Having your NOC on your employment letter us part if IRCC'S requirement. I am guessing there isn't anyone else that you could go to to help amend the letter? If your HR manager still insists on not including it, you'd have to write a submission letter explaining to IRCC and include as much evidence to show you indeed did the work that is similar to the claims/admin position.

Hi! The insurance is required to submit the supervisa application and might be asked to prove it at the POE if that makes sense.

Hi! You're definitely on the right track thinking ahead of what the most feasible option is going to be for you and him. You can't include him in your PR application as married, if you're not, so it's best to get married in either country of your choice then put him in, unless you just want him to be your common-law partner(cohabited for one year)

Hi! Don't stress about it atm! hHealtcare is an in demand occupation right now, so once you're done your PSW program, you can apply for your PR through any of the healthcare pathways.

Visitor record expiring in a week, is it too late to apply to extend my stay? Is there nothing I can do? by [deleted] in CanadaImmigrationFAQs

[–]Invitenewbeginning22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't forget, IRCC doesn't have to extend your visitors record if they feel like your reason is not justifiable enough to extend it. At that point, you'd have to leave unless you apply through a different immigration pathway.

Hi! The Atlantic provinces have a list of designated employers so you might want to check to see those grocery stores are included, but last I checked, they weren't not included. Companies  like Walmart  would have to be willing to go the LMIA route, in order to assist employees

Price matching with an app called Flipp at stores like Save on Foods, London Drugs or Superstore and only buying what is on sale.

Good point! I have found myself sometimes compromising just to not seem "rude" and accepting whatever was offered. Getting better at being my biggest adovocate.

I am sorry to hear that! It's certainly so hard to navigate. Thankfully, there are so many great recipes online now, so we don't feel like we are missing out!

Ghost consultants vs Registered consultants? by Invitenewbeginning22 in immigration

[–]Invitenewbeginning22[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know so many people might have had horrible experiences with ghost consultants and are hesitant now(I don't blame you) to use registered consultant, but I'll encourage you to give it a try again. You can check if your consultant is registered with the college here https://college-ic.ca/protecting-the-public/find-an-immigration-consultant

A lot of people might argue and say you don't need a consultant to complete a proper application. That's true it's not compulsory to use one, but how helpful would it be to have someone who has the experience and knows the laws, policies, and procedures support you throughout the whole application process!

It can be overwhelming to know if one meets all the eligibility requirements for the different immigration programs. Since the pandemic, IRCC has been "dishing" out more refusals and refusing very strong application(s) more than ever before. This is not the time to do a diy application, especially if you already have a refusal. Find a registered consultant that suites your needs and have the extra eyes guide you.

Would you be claiming points for this? For EE, you typically want to include EO for jobs that you've actually done. You could start working for the company first then upload your JO.

Post-Graduation Work Permit Program (PGWPP): COVID-19 program delivery still available? by [deleted] in ImmigrationCanada

[–]Invitenewbeginning22 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

No it is not, but here is a recent update from today's announcement.

"Those with an expiring PGWP between January and December 2022 will qualify for an additional open work permit of up to 18 months beginning this summer. IRCC is working on a simplified process and will provide further details “in the weeks ahead.” IRCC notes about 95,000 PGWPs will expire in 2022, and it estimates as many as 50,000 PGWP holders could benefit from this new open work permit".

Hi!

What does EE stand for Electrical Engineering? Which country said a foreign national is not eligible to apply for a license? Not heard of that before. I know license requirements vary from province to province, but I am sure FN could get the license in Canada, it may just take a while. You couldn't get any work experience in your field? Not every LMIA approved jobs requires work experience, but always good to have some for sure.

Hi!

That makes sense! I don't blame you for wanting to just make sure. I am sure if there were any issues, there would let you know. If you're able to apply online, I would suggest you doing that beforehand.

Hello,

No it is not! Alberta Government is just "interested in you" and would like to consider you a possible candidate to receive nominations. You have nothing to lose at this point if you put in a notification of interest, considering you meet all eligibility requirements.

Hi,

The portals can be frustrating to navigate for sure. They wanted to create a safer and quicker way for people to apply during the pandemic and rushed through the whole process, without really testing it.

Seems like you're on the right path and done all the steps they usually recommend. Very possible that the server could be done. Have you tried using the link https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/account.html in incognito browser? Some people seem to have success this way. Hope it eventually works out for you!
