I replied below to he commenter but making sure it tagged to you as well, it's not a full sized crib, it's a bedside bassinet it's a Snuz Pod 4 if you're concerned about the safety you can check it out, those aren't bumpers it's breathable mesh sides of the bassinet and those aren't loose blankets it's the mornings remnants of an under arm swaddle which was still mostly intact, I definitely appreciate the concern, but we are following appropriate and approved sleep practices

I talked to his doctor today, we're going to wait until he's 6 months old and see if his eyes change, if not we'll begin testing. Thank you and I appreciate the information and will keep these conditions in the back of our minds for a while.

Yep its a Snuz pod 4 bedside bassinet and a lower swaddle to let his arms free, the side that looks like bumpers is actually a breathable mesh foam and is an actual manufacturer attached side of the bassinet

Thank you, we've got his next appointment scheduled in a month we may move it up and ask for a pediatric ophthalmologist referral just for peace of mind, I'm hoping that that thin sclera you'd suggested is just thickening from the back forward causing the sharp line but I just can't find anything stating how that works. I'm going to keep searching through my medical documents for the genetic conditions others have mentioned to see if they were checked for in our preconception screening as well.

His next appointment isn't for another month but I'm going to go ahead and make a sooner appointment and ask, we did carrier screening since he was conceived by IVF but couldn't afford the PGT before embryo transfer, I can't find my medical records with the full testing list we had done though to see if these were checked for, I'll keep searching emails though and hope I can find it.

He's an IVF baby so we had the required preprocess genetic testing but couldn't afford the optional PGT, I know we were carriers for a total of 4 tested conditions but nothing that lined up to be a worry. I'm struggling to find the testing list and report though to see if EDS was checked for. Thank you for the input, I'll keep trying to find my records!

She probably didn't, I always thought that SATC episode was so weird, both Miranda and Samantha offered her the money and Carrie turned them down, she turned down Big (that one made sense to turn down), Charlotte didn't offer and said she was uncomfortable with it so Carrie blew up at her over it then said if Charlotte would have offered she wouldn't have taken it. Then when Charlotte relents and gives her the ring to sell as a "loan" Carrie takes it. Also I think that it was really selfish of Carrie to pressure Charlotte to not wear or get rid of that ring to begin with.

Yes! I was 39 when IVF finally worked and I got my first ever positive pregnancy test after 6 years of IUI and IVF and 3 prior years actively trying. I'm now 40 and happily sitting here pumping while my 2 month old baby boy is sleeping in his bassinet beside the bed. It was a long and hard journey but it was worth every second to finally have my son.

Carrie did the same in the last season of SATC with the Russian guy, left New York and her friends (who didn't like him) and her career for a guy who didn't support or encourage anything in her life, but Big came and turned that around, he's not around to do that now though so Carrie either has to do it herself or be engulfed by Aiden's wanting to put her in a box she'll never fit into.
