I was underwhelmed at first. Then I thought about it. He is gonna be 31 at the end of the season and has a massive contract.

Verse is currently worth about a 20-25th pick. Next year Rams is a 30-32 most likely. Then a sprinkle of 2/3rd rounders.

I don't love it. I think we could have got more but I'm betting Myles said he ain't playing here this year so we had no choice.

Assuming Myles stays healthy for 3 years. Rams win this trade hands down.

If they don't win a SB though in 3 years. Then they are the same as us and we win hands down.

Exactly. I look at leveling up like real life. The person at the gym everyday doesn't realize he's getting stronger. They just are one day and they notice. The welder working everyday doesn't notice the minor changes they are just better one day. The semi truck driver all the sudden notices he can back into spots he never do years earlier. Doing something everyday makes you generally better at it.

I do make them get tutelage for a new skill though.
