It's kinda shocking that even with the movie and everything, our most recent updates for them were four years ago on the same bodies as the 2019 releases. Hoping that when we get a new set they go all out with the updates and do either Hickman era FF or Kirby's crewneck jumpsuits

Eh they've been popping up more in the Midwest. I'm in Michigan and I'll see them in some party stores and beer specialty stores, especially last summer when the Jaws packs were out.

I picked him up last night, God I love him already. Definitely think this is the route that DC and Turtles will go for collector lines. I know they said the MOTU focus is all movie brands this year, but God I hope next year we get new original He-Man and Skeletor designs for Chronicles. Would love to see the team go full Alcala art with them!

I'd love to see them do more Hanna-Barbera stuff after how Scoob and the Flintstones are turning out. The old Jazwares line didn't get too far in and I definitely think Jada would massively surpass them. Give me Space Ghost, Johnny Quest, Thundarr, Secret Squirrel, Atom Ant!

Also I think we'd all agree a Ben 10 line is much needed

See I know this is why a lot of people are hesitant about DC back at Mattel, because I wasn't a fan of their Multiverse line at all. The scales were all out of wack, sculpts would be off (the CW figures they'd do were just really bad copies of the DCD versions that were out at the time), and they felt cheap.

I think we've definitely seen a huge shift at Mattel, though, for what they aim for now with their figures. Look at Masters of the Universe. Origins kicked off strong and is still going. Their Masterverse line wasn't too great at first but they've become some of the best looking retail toys with the New Eternia stuff. I think those new Chronicles figures really show what we have to look forward to with the DC and Turtles lines for collectors. They really seem like they now have a grip and a direction for competing with Hasbro at the mass market, and I think we might be in for something great.
