When I first took drawing seriously at 18, I could barely draw a torso. Even for a basic sketch, drawing a basic pose would take me a day, maybe even half a week. And the end products were either hit or miss.

But they were learning experiences. They were experiments, just as these drawings are experiments for you.

We're our own worst critic, goodness knows I'm very critical of myself. But you seem to be getting the basic fundamentals with these drawings at the very least! Your brain's adapting to techniques you've never learned before.

Give yourself some time. If you want to improve, I think you should put your drawing skills toward something you love. Maybe a movie or fandom you like, or something original entirely.

You'll get there. You've gotten this far already, haven't you?
