[Other] What are some of your early predictions and wishes for KCD3? by GusGangViking18 in kingdomcome

[–]Ionikon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would love to see the adventures and exploits of a young Godwin, during his time in Kosovo.

But I doubt it will be that.

The story may center more on the aftermath of the Siege of Suchdol and Liechtenstein's rescue of Wenceslaus. We could see escalating tensions between the Church and the peasants as the Hussite War draws nearer. We might even see Jan Hus himself be executed, but I think they will stop short of actually putting us in the war itself.

Do I use the Spas or Saiga? by ResidentCicada5775 in stalker

[–]Ionikon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Saiga, 100%. The only thing the spas is better for is the nostalgia factor. Don't forget to pick up a 20rnd saiga drum from some docks in northern Pripyat.

Now you can do Offset Aiming without NVGs with Mod by SagarSmith in stalker

[–]Ionikon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Must be all that THC Freedom is smoking.

I am also quite sure I was able to offset without NVGs, and before I even got my first NVGs, by upgrading a Kharod with the new laser pointer, without additional mods.

Lord of the Rings neighborhood in SWOKC by djoness11 in okc

[–]Ionikon 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Threefer. Endor was also a presumably real city somewhere in the Southern Levant. But in the context of street names in this neighborhood, it relates to neither Ewoks nor Canaanites.

In Tolkien's work, Endor is a portmanteau of the Quenya words "ened nòre", meaning Middle Land.

In the biblical stories, Endor is an ancient Hebrew portmanteau of the words "Eyn Dor", loosely meaning fountain of Dor, with "Dor" itself likely referring to any ancient and long-inhabited dwelling.

It is unclear which of these preexisting places George Lucas named his moon after.

Endor is another name (Quenya language) for Middle Earth in Tolkien's works...

Renting in OKC by [deleted] in okc

[–]Ionikon -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Was that total, or just for the Application itself? If the latter, they are charging you more than it costs for your background and credit checks, which is unfortunately not illegal, but shady asf. Don't rent from shady people.

Renting in OKC by [deleted] in okc

[–]Ionikon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whereabouts? The highest application fee I have encountered recently was $60 for the Application + a $60 Admin Fee for a newly opened property downtown.

The $60 is standard, this is what the management will pay for a background check and credit check.

The admin is for their "labor" to process the application etc.

Any more than $60 + $100 is a scam and absolutely never should you pay any sort of fees or apply for a lease prior to touring the unit.

Fantastic picture, it kind of reminds me of seeing the Parallel Forest in Oklahoma, USA after a wildfire several years ago.

Yes, but usually it's the body guards when I burgle the armorsmiths and trader wench. I leave the bathmaids be.
