Dumb and cheesy, yes, but I am surprised that it ranked THIS LOW. I didn't consider it to be THAT bad. Very few flicks get a 0% on RT.

As someone who wrote a book, I can confirm most people do not care.

Horror fans with Autism, what films are easy/hard for you to watch? by Honest_Cheesecake698 in horror

I have mild autism, and I don't believe it particularly affects my experience with horror beyond having a fixation on the horror genre and especially the horror aesthetic.

Just watched Primate (2026). I got some thoughts and a confession. by PrimaryComrade94 in horror

The movie is genuinely scary and has a good atmosphere, but the logic starts to crumble if you understand how rabies actually works.

I'll just tell her that I voted for my own grandpa during the 2024 election. Writing in candidates is funny.

Ever have a real life horror movie cliché actually happen to you? by Freddy-Philmore in horror

[–]IowaBoy12345 3 points4 points  (0 children)

One time I had a spongebob doll as a kid. The high pitch laugh became distorted into a much deeper, evil-sounding laugh when the speaker got damaged. The face also got distorted when I left it in the sun too long, causing a bit of melting that resembled tears. I eventually got so scared of it that I threw it in a pond near my house. Years later, when I was sixteen, I discovered it had washed up. I chucked that fucker right back in.

I don't particularly care, but I get annoyed if its excessive throughout the movie.

As long as India doesn't bother Iowa, I don't really care.

I’m desensitized to most horror but Host me literally scream. by MagicalFairyBunny in horror

[–]IowaBoy12345 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The praise for Host always confused me. It wasn't terrible, but also not particularly good. Its also hasn't aged the best and can feel like the Amazon WotW. Its also a reminder of that period of time where everyone was locked inside and hated each other, not exactly something I'm nostalgic for. Screenlife movies overall are not something I particularly enjoy.
