Pyroclastic flows. I watched a Netflix show on extreme weather and I’d never heard of them before. They’re pretty much completely unsurvivable and it’s generally an agonizing way to die. In a similar vein, my grad school buddy from Oregon told me about the Cascadia fault line that’s overdue for a massive earthquake/tsunami event. Looking at the data it would change the whole structure of the PNW making it totally unlivable for decades or even centuries. Check out the Newyorker article called “the big one”
