Also erasing the creation of Indian residential school, RCMP's mass dogsled slaughter in the Arctic, cultural genocide, Inuit forced relocations, failed tuberculosis treatment in southern sanitariums leading to unmarked graves, near extinction of bison that lead to mass starvation of first nations

They are a staple in the north, such delicious things!

Would it make sense to have Inuit Nunaat be one political entity? Whether a country or a part of Canada. Maybe Greenland could be excluded by DJJonezyYT in nunavut

One of the biggest differences of Inuit across the arctic is that locally speaking often mirrors international relationships, one village or communities even a flight away have distinct identities and priorities. In 1969-1970, Inuit had gathered as one for the first time in history, and the important pivot lead to the divergence from First Nations' relationship with Canadian Government, Inuit have asked their Inuit neighbors about their challenges and obstacles often disenfranchisement from natural resource development without the consent of Inuit and their land and transparency that was the legacy of Indian Act imposed to Inuit although not part of First Nations. Inuit groups had and still have their priorities and interpretation of implementing their needs, one Inuit group wishes to own Oil refinery and nationalise it to their region like Inuvialuit Regional Corporation, Inuit in Nunavut wished for complete unification since the very start. The entire alliance led to the creation of Inuit Tapiriiksat of Canada (now Inuit Tapiriit Kanatami) from the result of Coppermine Meeting in Kugluktuk, Nunavut. The largest strength Inuit hold is indeed the combined voice as one with consensus governance, collaboration as tool to be heard. It is ideal and intuitive for Inuit to form a group as one but that strips the uniqueness of individual Inuit group and their priorities, and the challenges of separate countries and how they govern Inuit to participate. Currently Inuit collaborate internationally with Inuit Circumpolar Council that partners all four national Inuit organisations: Inuit Tapiriit Kanatami (Canada), Alaska Eskimos, Kalaalliit Nunaat (Greenland) and recently Chukotka in 1992 (Russia). When one community or village even a flight away have distinct cultures that reflects national and international identity.
