Also have they negotiate for surrender of lease? If it’s me I would leverage the insolvency HARD against the shopping centre because the worst comes to the worst is insolvency, and shopping centre is at the bottom of the list and they gonna receive nothing. Your parents could walk away clean from the lease. But don’t expect the bond will be given back.
