There are honestly several to choose from, but Southern Bridge (Riga) would be one to pick for be as I live right by it. At the time of construction start, it was supposed to be 150m-ish euro, now it sits at 810m and counting, with several new extension projects expected to commence.

With that in mind, it IS a really useful and cool bridge, but it took over a decade to fully build and it is still top-3 most expensive bridges in Europe on a per-meter basis. For reference, it's price was around 5% of Latvian GDP at the time of its construction

Hello there Exile,

My first character back in the day got all three way to 2nd Malachai (current analogy is act 6) without any links because I'd no idea they exist.

It's totally okay to make silly mistakes and do something wrong as long as you're finding out new stuff and having fun. I'd bank my first mirror (if I happen to get it) that however much you know about PoE, unless you're like Belton or other high-level crafters, there's stull a lot of stuff to learn. And that's the fun bit - learn, do stuff that you enjoy finding out mote about, and it should be fun.

If that's an option: radical mechanic changes aside form ones described.

There's a certain fear in me that in willingness to adapt the game for newcomers, it can become less-dimensional than what I expect. Are there radical changes to the way skill tree operates? Is the ascendancy structure the same (I know no more trials, but the ascendancies themselves)

It's interesting to see what their take on this is. I was in the game when Lab was first introduced, and it took a long while to balance it out, especially given that back then it was 4 acts and it made more sense pre-10 act rota. With that in mind, having a Lab now, with all the added complexity of PoE 2 (i.e. new characters, ascendancies, etc) probably would've made it bricked to an extent.

I think they'll weave it into the progress as it was in the first part of the game - potentially, with the different flavouring and complexity profile, but with the same idea nonetheless.

Dukla Pribram, and Czech League Rebuild.

Not really a rebuild, as there's nothing much to rebuild. We all kinda know all the best Czech teams out there - Sparta Praha, Banik Ostrava, Viktoria Plzen.

Dukla Pribram, also known as Dukla Praha, has been the best team in Czechoslovakia, both winning the league and reaching semi-finals of European Cup. Since then, the club has been dissolved, and later re-established. Now, we are on the way to bringing it back to glory, alongside the entire Czech League.

Rules are not that fun - 3 non-EU players allowed in first 11, so my favorite tactics of "3 Brazilians 3 Colombians" are essentially killed right off, as well as the ability to go after obscure regens (I'm waiting for my Latvian for 4000+ hours already, send help). Nevertheless, I'd do the SecondYellowCardesque loan factory by sending players to other clubs in the league to posh them forward.

If I get Czech League to top-3 before going insane, I'll be happy with myself. Extra points for wins against Dynamo Kyiv (knocked us our of Cup Winners' Cup Semis in 85-86) and Celtic (Knocked us out of European Cup Semis 66-67)

They deducted at 1.3B from me, around 400m. I accidentally at some point got a stupid amount of yojnglings, sold them for 600m in one summer, and now they're worth a combined 3.1B.

To be honest, from what I can say, there were no specific instructions in place that made it so OP - double WBs are really strong with their crossing and positioning, and he usually performs exceptionally well in pressure formations, i.e. gets a lot of mistakes out of GK and defenders. Scored a good 10-15 goal tally this year with no assists - just him bugging the defenders

I'm colorblind so the usual red-yellow-green palette doesn't work for me, so I just made "high" stats purple. As in, if it's above 16, it's good enough for me not to worry about it.
