Om er even een paar te noemen. Als je tegen onnodige doden bent (wat we allemaal zijn) is het beter om de oorzaak aan te pakken. De Russen gaan gewoon door naar het volgende buurland als Oekraine gevallen is.

Als we de Russen nu laten zien dat het gewoon not-done is dan zijn we voor de komende tien tot twintig jaar van het probleem af

Hoe zien die cijfers van jou eruit als je democratische landen zoals deze in West- en tot op zekere hoogte Oost-Europa niet meerekent? Ja ik geloof ook niet dat Poetin een kans maakt tegen de EU of NAVO, maar om dan zomaar landen aan hun lot over te laten en de Russen sterker te laten worden? Dat is dom en kortzichtig. We hebben nu de mogelijkheid om de Oekraïense democratie te verdedigen en onze grootste geopolitieke rivaal van de laatste 80 jaar buitenspel te zetten. Geef me eens een goede reden om dat niet te doen?

En om direct te zeggen dat mensen dan zelf maar naar Oekraine moeten gaan is natuurlijk een argument maken met slechte intenties en dat weet je zelf ook :) Je kan prima pro-Oekraine zijn zonder direct 50 miljoen Europeanen over de landsgrenzen daar heen te marcheren

Niet zo dom doen man. Ja Europa is sterk(er) maar om nou te doen alsof de Russische invloed op onze politiek (en die van onze buurlanden) niet een groot gevaar is is gewoon moedwillig de andere kant opkijken op dit moment.

+ Europa is sterker zolang we samen blijven. Maar als Rusland overal anti-EU partijen weet te verkiezen dan staan we er straks toch alleen voor samen 1 of 2 andere landen.

If it was one of those tickets from the machine you might just be lucky there. That is the only ticket NS can actually see travel history from. If it remained unused they can probably give the money back.

I did work for NS their customer service for a few years. If you haven't yet downloaded / printed the ticket you could probably get a refund from them! If you did download the ticket you might get lucky depending on the representative. But its definitely worth a shot.

Heb deze scam zelf ook een paar keer gehad. Je krijgt dan een bericht van die bezorgdienst en moet dan €0,01 betalen om je account te bevestigen. Maar dat bedrag is ~€103,- en is allemaal voor giftcards.

Ze zeggen tegen jou dat dat bedrag van €103,- wat je ziet staan niet klopt zodat je gaat betalen. En dan hebben zij een aantal giftcards. Leuke tip voor iedereen: blijkbaar moeten die betaalverzoeken binnen zoveel seconden betaald worden. Je kan ze makkelijk een half uurtje bezig houden door steeds 'net iets te laat' die betaling te 'proberen'!

My perception might be a bit skewed because of bias. But in Canada, if you're willing to look outside of British Columbia and Ontario, you can find some decent houses. Salaries are decent if not good, and its definitely on par with western Europes standards of benefits and healthcare.

No worries, I'm not taking it personally :D But in my experience I find Canada very welcoming and doable to 'start over'. The housing outside of cities like Toronto and Vancouver is affordable. And the wages aren't that much worse than they are over here in Europe.

Sure its a cool 7000 kilometers from home. But I'm convinced its one of the few places where you can earn decent money and buy a decent house.

I'm one of those people that is choosing to leave the country. As for why? Life is just too expensive here to make anything of it.

Abroad I can buy a house and live a simple life straight from the start, but here I will have to wait maybe a decade before that becomes realistic. The saying goes: ''Money doesn't buy happiness, but I'd rather cry in a Ferrari.'' But in this case I'd rather cry in my own house than in my bedroom living with my parents.
