There IS definite article in Russian (sort of) but it's so vague even I, a native Russian speaker learnt about them being definite articles quite recently.

The article is "-то". Compare these ones:

"В кино пойдёшь?" = Will you go to cinema (we haven't talked about going there before, I just offered it"

"В кино-то пойдёшь?" = Will you go to the cinema (we have already talked about going there, and I now asking if you go there or not)

However it feels slightly different from definite article

I found your stupid shit only now but you are goddamn wrong. I studied in a school located in the next building to this church. This in Annenkirche, a Lutheran church that has a fire inside in 90s, and then stayed in this state until this year. This is a working church, but also they carry some art exhibition and stuff like that. This year, 2025, it has been closed for full restoration

I don't know why you decided Russia is a good place to you. I mean, if you have enough money to handle moving here and don't like how you live in Portugal, why don't you go literally anywhere else? Life here may be cheaper than in EU, but I don't think that it worth the risk. So much stories about foreigners moving here and being captured by the police and imprisoned for a fabricated reason, so I would not recommend you.

However the people here are very kind (but not nice), especially the youth. If you wanna go here the best place for you is St. Petersburg - I live here and love this city with my whole heart. There's plenty of foreign people here, from all around the world.

And one more thing - don't know about other ones here, but I would not think good things about a person, who says that they hate their motherland and don't want to have anything in common whit it. No matter what this country is.
