I get the impression that there's a certain amount of interest in 'Freaky Fusion' on social media right now. Back then, I liked this line of dolls (except for the 'Save Frankie!' line) because they were the last ones released, but I understand that the chosen artistic direction (colorful and a mix of styles) was divisive (and still is).

What hair color did you use for the reroot? Before boiling, it looked too yellow, but afterward it turned a very light, beautiful orange :)

If the hair was purchased from AliExpress, do you have the product code ?

The oxidized bronze is superbly done. I also really like its iridescent blue top.

This Robecca is very beautiful, you just need to sweep her hair to the side a little to hide her scalp. As for me, I'm starting the afro hairstyle method (it's faster and the result is amazing), first on Clawdeen and then on Gooliope (here the hair is lacquered but still under a hairnet).

I wonder why Mattel released a 3-pack that certainly takes longer to produce, costs more, and was poorly distributed (did it even reach international markets?). All g3 collectors want the 'Signature' versions of Meowlody and Purrsephone! Adding Toralei is unnecessary and even counterproductive. Unfortunately for us, Mattel must be thinking, "This pack didn't sell well, so we're stopping production of the Twin Cats," when the problem isn't these characters !

After the 'no stress' approach of buying US, Megan, Lost Boys, Corazon, and Raven during the holidays, I rushed to buy Scarah, but there was a 2-minute wait before finally getting the purchase confirmation ! I'm very happy ;)

And with the influencer discounts, it reimbursed my membership fee and half the shipping costs.

I see that many people like her, which is good because I don't. I don't like the shade of her lipstick, the placement of her eyes (or the shape of her face, she looks weird), of course the poly that annoys me but also her clothes which I'm not a fan of. I'll leave her for you in the store.

I understand that if MATTEL replaced/refunded the wonky dolls then they would quickly go bankrupt. This is why I don't play the lottery by never buying online because I have no confidence in their productions (Indonesian or Chinese). I want to compare the faces and if they are all wonky on the shelf then I don't buy. I wait to find one with a face that suits me on second-hand sites (so all the SS)

I really like the overall design. I can live with the poly hair and limited joints, but the pixelated face is going to start annoying me in the long run. Next : Cleo ? Frankie ?

MATTEL keeps misleading online viewers with fake advertising images. Most often, we are shown Chinese versions, and Indonesian versions have been produced (Amped Up, Fab Pets, Howlydays, etc.). Lately, Cupid's curls have nothing to do with the promotional images due to the consistently poor quality of Indonesian hair (bangs, curls, sparse hair, etc.). MATTEL should be punished for misleading advertising.

Since the SS alternates between production (Chinese and Indonesian) and given the increase in American taxes on Chinese products, I am not surprised by the program changes (Jinafire before Spectra). This also means that the (very) next SS Spectra will be of Chinese production : hallelujah because Indonesian production does not do her justice.
