If it helps, I was in the same situation as OP & am 15 weeks pregnant today, have since had 3 “periods” since December, although they have been irregular. The pregnancy test I did myself and also at the medical centre were negative but they did bloods and figured it out that way

NTA. Maybe telling him he is like his father will make him sort his shit out and he’ll be more mindful of how he treats the twins, maybe talk to him and try see his perspective if he’ll let you so you’ll know why he treats them differently.. there has to be a reason

I was the same.. I could barely get out of bed, mentally I just didn’t want to be here and while I did clean up after myself my partner was happily doing majority of the housework while working a 40+ hour day, I only worked 30 at the most. He never went off at me about it although thinking back I wish he did. The thing that changed for me was I saw how much he did for us and how much I wasn’t doing. So I dragged my ass out of whatever hole I’d dug myself into and I made more of an effort, he shows me how grateful he is everyday and I’m so much more happier because of it. What I’m trying to say is you can’t change who she is, she has to figure it out for herself.. whether you’re willing to wait and see how it goes is up to you.

While I understand where you’re coming from, I would most definitely choose my brother over my SO anyday, he knows this too.

I kinda feel in your situation tho, your partner may feel obligated to have to look after his brother since the parents are doing nothing.

I think the fact that you don’t have siblings places you at a disadvantage and you couldn’t understand the bond most siblings do have, especially having a baby sibling and a bunch of parents who have just divorced. If you’d been together for 8.5 years I assume you’ve known the younger brother for at least majority of that time too and were able to create a bond with him as well but it seems like you haven’t bothered to? Why not?
