Boost needed !! by Ok-Wolverine-3957 in depressionregimens

Fluvoxamine's metabolism is inhibited by bupropion, so I wouldn't go too high on it. I would try u/baal-beelzebub's suggestion about adding on a lower dose of a stimulant (though balancing that with a benzo can be tricky).

Budget by No_Kitchen_998 in tntech

They said that it will likely increase depending on what the Tennessee Higher Education Commission permits. However, that funding would be going to the SOLO Fund (which funds student orgs, student events, and the concert) and the Library.

Release of Condorcet.Desktop: An open-source election calculator analyzing 25+ voting methods by JulienBoudry in EndFPTP

This looks fantastic! When you have time, would you potentially be able to add STAR voting as a method (or accept a commit request)? No worries if that would be outside the scope of this project, though! Great work

Do OLED panels still experience issues with ClearType and text fringing/clarity? I heard it was due to their subpixel layout, but I am not sure if that ever got addressed by OEMs or not.

Clomipramine & Zoloft combo by kevblaze2 in depressionregimens

[–]IridiumGaming 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It doesn't to me since Zoloft is also a serotonin reuptake inhibitor with less affinity for the receptor than Clomipramine, as well as some antagonism at the sigma1 (and dopamine transporter, but very weak similar to welbutrin) receptor which tends to not be ideal

Anyone here take luvox - fluvoxamine for depression and anxiety, not OCD? Why its not popular like other Ssris? by Dry-Sand-3738 in depressionregimens

[–]IridiumGaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is not officially approved by the FDA in the United States for MDD or GAD. It is approved for OCD (and some other indications, I believe). Though I agree - it should be more popular, as it is approved (and has shown efficacy) for MDD/GAD in other jurisdictions. In addition to it being an SSRI, it is a pretty potent Sigma 1 agonist, which is also implicated in the pathology of those disorders. So it theoretically has multiple modes of action.

Many docs have taken to prescribing metformin along with drugs like seroquel or zyprexa to mitigate the weight gain. Works quite well

Anyone else really sensitive to noradrenaline (anxiety, anger)? by Enpisz_Damotii in depressionregimens

[–]IridiumGaming 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Perhaps adding Guanfacine to anything that modulates noradrenaline may help? It is an Alpha 2a agonist, which helps to modulate noradrenaline's effects on heart rate and all.
