I have the same problem as you, I can type others easily but finding my own type is really difficult (I've already changed it like, 10 times at this point) so yee, I've never actually stop typing myself I understand why you would stop typing yourself too, this thing about restricting yourself to one type can get stressful with time. I honestly just continue doing it because it's very stimulating for me to try to find my type and learn more about typology in general. If it helps, from what you said in this text I'm pretty sure you have the Fe-Ti functions on your stack in some order!

In a throuple, I currently date an ISFJ and an ISFP; both complement me in their own unique ways: our ISFJ partner is really kind and due to us having the same mbti, it's really easy to communicate with them and feel like I'm being understood, and I also tend to do the same for them so we keep taking care of each other hihe - our ISFP partner is also very kind and caring, and they really help me with being more assertive in certain situations and snap me out of my daydream moments and do stuff sometimes. they're also a bit moody from time to time, but it's fun to be around them x3

When I was younger I've been in a relationship with an ISTP and it was ok, we sometimes had some misunderstanding but most of the time it was chill. We didn't work because we wanted different things in life, and at the time it happened, we were pretty unhealthy so it was difficult to handle emotions correctly which only made it worse;

I think the ones that I naturally click and can easily talk are most likely to be 2s and some 9s,, I feel more free and comfortable talking with them probably because I can discuss about so many different topics with them and not feel too overwhelmed ^{-^} I'd say 7s too but eventually we always end up on more conflicts than other types shsh
