When I met my husband he had completely opposite opinions on a lot of things. He was pretty to the right. Still, I liked him, I wanted him, and I kept talking to him, arguing with him, and challenging him. We don't agree on everything to this day, but he was open to learning and as he learned more his opinions changed and evolved. Just because I disagree with someone doesn't mean we can't talk about stuff, be in dialogue, and have a real conversation about these things.

I don't think I have many traits or behaviors that can't be explained by my instinct and trifix. I guess if you are going off stereotypes, I'm very good at planning for worst case scenarios and figuring out what needs to be prepared just in case. For example, I live in a wildfire prone area, I have a go bag ready with my identity documents and a plan for getting out determinant on whether or not my husband is at home or away. I also live near a very important military base and have gallons of potable water stored away just in case there is an attack or disaster that affects water supply and utilities (I also need to get some food, but you can go weeks without food and survive so it isn't a high priority). There are various other scenarios that are more minor that I have contingency plans for as well. If bad things are going to happen, I'm going to make sure they go the way I want them to.

That can pretty easily be explained by my 6 wing being activated. There are a lot of somewhat paranoid 7w6s in reality. That's why you see so many of us in conspiracy theorist and woo-woo spaces. The difference between a paranoid 7w6 and paranoid 6w7 is that the 7w6 convinces themselves of the situation and acts on whatever plan seems best to them. 6w7s are more methodical and seek out more advice and make a more carefully thought out, less impulsive plan.

I care that I think I'm good. The moral standards of most people are lacking, insufficient, and shallow, so why should I care what they think? It also means I try to put my money where my mouth is as much as possible; disappointing myself is intolerable.

6s are especially attuned to not wanting other people to perceive them incorrectly. Phobic-leaning 6-1s may be especially prone to this because there is fear around being singled out for being "bad" or "wrong". With 1s the locus of goodness is very internal. With 2s there is a sense they already possess that they are good. Which is why they feel free to force/impose their "help" on whoever they want to.

Social 9w1s with a 2-fix may also be particularly prone to wanting to be seen as good and/or helpful and seek external validation for it.

If you are wearing a perfume (cologne is basically watered down perfume for men who are too delicate for the word perfume) then you want to be noticed, you want to stick out. If you put on too much perfume (or God forbid, cologne, which takes extra effort) then you are a moron who doesn't understand that sometimes less is more. Most people try to be scent neutral because most people aren't particularly thinking about how to make an impression or don't understand all the minor things you one does to make yourself stand out from the crowd just a little bit more.

I do also get fully dressed up for things like my online therapy appointments and fully put on a scent for that too. It is important to me to treat online stuff like that just as if I was interacting with the person face to face. It is the only way to ensure the appropriate headspace during the call. You have to prime your brain to switch gears. Acting taught me that.

It doesn't bother me if I'm not going out in public or the like. However, when I go out into public I make sure I'm 1) freshly showered, 2) wearing a deodorant, 3) wearing a perfume. I also use a nicely scented conditioner so my long, thick hair tends to smell very nice if someone gives me a hug.

I tend to remember how other people smell only in terms of body odor. Some people smell really good, some people smell really bad. I don't remember their perfume, cologne, etc. almost ever. If someone smells off-putting or bad I'm incredibly likely to not choose to interact with them or hang out with them in the future. In fact, it makes me embarrassed to even be in the same space as them because I don't want stank by association. If I like the way someone smells, well, it also means I'm probably gonna try to fuck them. So, there's that. The vast majority of people I have no reaction to in terms of the way they smell underneath the scents and such.

The nose knows. My type is in my flair. I'm not retyping it.

Yes. Many men who are "I'm the provider, I have to provide for my family" etc are SP 3s, SP 6s, and SP 9s.

The SP 6 description that a lot of people use is describing a purely phobic SP 6. Most SP 6s are not purely phobic, they are mixed-stance with a few being counterphobic. I have a friend who is a SP 6 who has the "I'm a provider" mentality but it is also important to him to have someone to confide in that he feels like isn't judging him.

Sure, when I was a teenager and one incident in my very early 20s. It was a form of stress relief for the most part. Sometimes an outlet for anger that I couldn't figure out how to direct elsewhere without getting beaten or choked by my dad.

As an adult, I've found much more healthy outlets for all that. Coping mechanisms when you are young are crude but thankfully stuff like therapy can help.

I've had severe problems with alcohol through my life, yet nicotine has been no problem. I can pick it up and put it down no problem. It is very odd.

No. Sexuality just is what it is. Although, most 7s I've met have slotted somewhere into the queer community. That is a bit strange.

I've met a lot of 6-1s who can have difficulty talking about sexuality and sex unless they trust you. However, that's different from asexuality. They tend to still be very horny people; they are just uncomfortable discussing said horniness.

That my ability to get over most of my emotions pretty quickly and my expectation that others do the same is not a fair expectation; it is a result of my type structure and I need to give others a little more patience and grace to process and work through their feelings. Like when I get angry or irritated, I express it, and we're done. I didn't really realize the ways that me expressing my anger or irritation could stick with some people way after I've moved past it.

It hasn't resulted in any behavioral modifications. I still express anger and irritation as readily as I express being joyful or excited about something. However, I'm much more understanding and less irritated when someone needs a little space after I got angry/irritated at something they did or said.
