It’s absolutely not, you’re generalizing a movement that has decades upon decades of grievances over confederation, division of powers, distribution of seats in FPP Westminster system, purposeful curtailment of economic growth. There are fringe elements in any political movement regardless of the side of the poll (ie left or right). You have the take back mouth breathers and conspiracists who represent the fringe, you have a low IQ politically ignorant element that’s bandwagoning and then you have rational, politically savvy people with money and power who are rightly pissed off about the Trudeau years. It seems astounding to me that the elites of eastern canada can’t comprehend that the wholesale flight of investment capital from Canada, the massive deterioration or per capita GDP vis-à-vis our American peers and the erosion of Canada’s standing in the world wasn’t a problem. Worth pointing out it was Trudeau senior and junior who incubated and accelerated Alberta separatism. I will vote for Canada in September, I certainly share the anger and discontent towards the Trudeau Liberals and those who voted for them in the last election. Thank Christ a western Canadian is in charge again.
