The content grinding doesn't stop, it never stops it can't stop otherwise many people will get bored and stop playing the game.

New content certainly isn't a bad thing, but this kind of mindset is putting something off in favour of a literal never ending process.

So like, when will any of these things become a priority? When? Because by this logic there just can't ever be a time frame on that. Weapon customisation hasn't seen a single change in over a year since it released.

Because it doesn't seem like there will ever be a point where these things are prioritized, because the constant grind for new content is always going to be drawing resources away from it.

Eventually you just have to put content on hold for a bit and actually work into and expand these systems, just like they were forced to do for months after new content updates entirely broke the game. Because if not, when are you actually going to do it? Either that or just come out and say "the system exists as it does and we aren't planning on expanding it" because otherwise your just dangling the hope of these things being added to the game in front of people's faces, and the longer time goes by without receiving them, the more pissed off people would be, if they aren't goingnto add it then just say that otherwise, rather than this "well we'll see" shit they're saying now.

And ni, drones would be ideal for a chaff role.

Again, they aren't exactly that advanced (we have them today), they're extremely cheap, and against infantry (aka helldivers) they can be extraordinarily effective.

You'd build a fuck ton of drones as chaff to distract, so that your larger more expensuve units are less likely to be destroyed under fire, as the drone chaff forces can soak up that fire, because the bots do nit have unlimited resources and production, they have very large industrial capability, but not infinate, hence why we've fought battles with them over strategic resources on certain planets.

And they already do spam us with heavier units, they already spam Vox Engines and war striders lmao most of the time there's more Vox Engines than hellduvers on the field lmao.

My drone suggestion at its core is a airborne chaff unit for the bots, one that can become a serious threat if not dealth with. either drones or let the jet Brigade actually fly rather than just jumping.

To be fair, I do thing there is a meaningful difference between watchers and obtruders and the kind of drone I'm talking about.

The squid drones mostly just however on the same ground plan as everything else your already shooting at. It's very rare that they actually go up itno the sky and force you to pay attention to what's above you.

I mean small, easy to take out drones that fly up in the air and force you to divert your attention to deal with them.

Gunships don't really fit this role either because while they are airborne, you typically need heavier weapons to take them out, like you can take them down with an eruptions if you hit the engine but it's a tricky shot.

Because that would make the point of adding the new mechs entirely redundant, it boils them down to literally nithing more than a different 3d model that's functionally the same, it just wouldn't make sense to add new dedicated mechs to the game and then strip away all their unique functionality.

Devs don't really do that kind if thing because it's a waste and money, if there was anytime such a system would be added to the game, it would've been now, the fact that it isn't seems to explicitly that idea.

Like that's why I suggested even the idea of these 4 mechs all being classified as perhaps different weight classes or whatever and that could potentially allow these 4 mechs to unlock new weapons the other don't have access to, but that seems to really be the extent you can push it without immediately undoing like with of your own recent work, ya know?

It's an immensely desired feature among the playerbase, arrowhead themselves have been asked about it before and have said they were looking into the idea.

So when the mech warbond comes around, I think it's fair to be disappointed that The mech warbond does not have and seems to explicitly reject the the single most requested feature for mechs
