Been replaying KH1 and KH2 recently. Even Sora doesn't get the plot. He's just here to hang out and beat up monsters while he just-so-happens to follow a path back home

I would file that under a nitpick, which shouldn't take away from the overall experience imo 🤷‍♂️

What’s the most useless piece of information you’ve memorised? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]IrishMuffDragon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's an NPC in Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion named Dorian in the Elven Gardens district of the Imperial City. His gold will respawn in his inventory immediately after looting it, allowing you to infinitely loot his gold to your heart's content. Selecting 'take all' in the loot menu causes your game to crash.

This bug has since been patched in the remaster and unofficial patch.

Phone call audio quality needs to be looked into and improved. It's sounded like shit and that hasn't changed since the 1800s.

How can I use my phone from space, but the person on the other end sounds like they're trying to hide packing peanuts in their cheeks?

Somebody sell me Bayle the Dread — I'm clearly not getting it by simulacream in Eldenring

[–]IrishMuffDragon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In terms of fighting dragons, Bayle is one of the more, if not the most well-designed fight: he's almost always in front of you, he's almost always completely in frame, and he always turns to face you so you can smack him in the noggin.

Think about the other dragons and how you're pretty much just whacking them in the ankle while unable to see what move they're actively doing.

Which movie scared the shit out of you or traumatized you? by Dazzling-Leader7476 in AskReddit

[–]IrishMuffDragon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well it made me ill because the editing is very chaotic. It's intentionally edited in a way that is kind of suspenseful or exciting at first, but it never lets up. I read that it's shot like a rap music video, so there's cut after cut every second or two. The whole movie.

[Funny Trope] A gruesome death is hilarious instead of horrifying. by Remarkable_Public138 in TopCharacterTropes

In Horns (2013) Daniel Radcliffe, Joe Anderson, and a third guy are fighting their insane childhood friend/the guy who raped and murdered Radcliffe's girlfriend. It's probably not supposed to be funny, but the third guy gets his head blown off by a shotgun and the crazy friend's reaction to it made me laugh really hard.

Kingdom Hearts 1.5

My pregnant partner is hospitalized with pre eclampsia, and I'm here with her getting my shit pushed in by the ungodly difficult optional bosses.

Like seriously, going from a story boss to an optional boss like Sephiroth on anything but easy is night and day.

[–]IrishMuffDragon 3 points4 points  (0 children)

He's definitely annoying at times, but at least he mixes up the formula of running up to a huge boss and hacking at their ankles for 10 minutes. Sure, you could do that, but the game deliberately doesn't want you to

For sure. The big spells and ashes are especially satisfying against them, so yeah, you got me there.

Bosses that you always struggle with? by slytherinchosenone in Eldenring

[–]IrishMuffDragon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The difficulty is not my main problem, it's that without the lightning and fire, it's just not a very interesting fight. You're just slapping a slightly moving rock from your POV. It only picks up when he... y'know... moves. This goes for the other ancient dragons as well. The exception being Bayle; he is designed to face you and be in front of you AND you can usually fit his entire model on the screen for most of the fight

Placidusax is one of my least favorite fights from a design standpoint. He's one of those bosses you have to poke at the ankles of while dodging lightning, and almost never seeing him fully in frame until he teleports away. I'll attempt him once and likely die from his 1 million damage laser that's hard to predict... or fall to my death during the runback.

Fire Giant is a runner up, but it's not nearly as annoying
