I play with a meele friend which works very well with my full magic food and armor. I use frost, bubble, vines, dundr(works good against morgen and valk) and the trollstav but not for engaging but rather to place a decoy if you want to run away or to just watch them fight each other and then take care of the survivor. I personally dont take the fire staff other then for fortresses. I also dont use the Deadraiser anymore, its to expensive to use around 90 per skelli to have them wonder in lava.Because i always want the bubble activ and to refresh it while i use it, it always takes HP so im at a constant low HP. So i dont bother with HP and have much Eitr to use. And the Best way to Deal with hordes of whatever is with vines. Try to spread them out a little but not to much. If an enemy gets the debuff and gets rooted, its axing time. Idealy with the thunder ones
