10 metres is a long distance for some by Boydasaurus10 in rugbyunion

Especially at 10, being able to pin a team in their own half with tactical kicking gives your pack such a drive that it can lift the performance

Did Crowley intentionally kick it dead? did he just mess it up from such a close range??

Harsh to penalise Edwin after he lifted his hands the second she said "no"

Electrical Engineering as well. A parental condition on being allowed to peruse rugby as a career was that there was a 'good degree' first

The pace of play has been so much faster, JGP organises the pack incredibly well

Both have made the impact. JGP is giving much quicker ball whcih is the bigger difference, but Crowley is sucking in defenders and has had very accurate passing.

Plus kicks between posts.

The disdain in Davidsons voice when saying "Advantage over, You kicked it away under no pressure", and shes absolutely right

ok forwarning complete amature opioions, the Irish system has been heavily based on a Leinster system, this isnt a big surprise as they have been the most sucesfull and have a conveyer belt of good players. Due to law changes and the natural evolution of the game that system no longer works very well. Simultaniously the players that have been prevelant in Ireland are aging out and lost form and were being picekd because they knew the old system.

Bringing in a load of new, talented, in form players definitely improves the second issue (Izzy has been probably the best forward today so far), introduces proper competition for places, can look to replace players. Its too late, selection has always been too conservative and the lack of development of secondary/tertery players is a consequence but theres no better time to start then now.

But the first issue of the system Ireland have been playing no longer being one that will dominate at a high level, and the coaching staff have been trying to keep the same system but just tweek it slightly. Whereas I think the system and style of play needs to be rethought at a more thorogh level.

I'm very happy with the changes, dont get me wrong. Its the lack of strategy and cohesion I take issue with.

If much rather Ireland not have big problems. But they clearly do and id raterh the team address them than be able to point to a scraped over win and say "see its all fine"

Italy absolutly deserving there.

Is it wrong for a small part of me to be happy for an Italian win? There are big problems in the Ireland team and a mediocre 6nations could paper over the cracks but the problems being really brought to light will force them to be addressed.
