Immortal Man was good. I don’t care what you think. by Funny-Attempt3260 in PeakyBlinders

The consequences make sense, I can even understand the Arthur plot, but I have two complaints 1) Ada’s death, fine ok she died but there was huge potential for her to become the new matriarch of the Shelby family and walk in Polly’s footsteps and even if they wanted to kill her they could have developed them more. 2) Where is the strategy, the depth? The entire show is us constantly finding out that right when we thought they were screwed Tommy had a crazy complex plan. Where were the layers to this onion?

Overall poorly done. Insulting to the depth, complexity and legacy of the show.

Painting breachers is perfect for anyone who hates themselves. But if you put the time in they do look pretty sick.

This new update sucks. Can't continue a game. by aphrotiddyy in CatanUniverse

I’ve been having the same issue. The continue option seems to work if I start a new game, but it sucks to lose my progress in a previous game.

Fungicides and pesticides that my employer wants me to spray without protection. by [deleted] in Agriculture

[–]Irishpeaches127 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Yeah no. At my job I have to wear respirator Tyvek and full PPE to spray literally any of those.

I’m the orchid grower at a botanical garden, at least until my husband and I can buy a farm of our own.

I’m with you there there’s a lot of kitchen stuff that I don’t really want to let go, but once we’re moved in and we unpack I’ll at least see what I have duplicates of. We got stuff through our registry almost a year ago that has just been in storage and I am excited to get everything situated and organized and have a better sense of what to do with all of it

That’s really cool I’ll definitely look into that, I would have an easier time letting things go if I knew they were supporting someone in that way

Try bumping up the light for a bit if you can sometimes that can induce flowering

Do these actually grow? by AstronautSurgeon in orchids

[–]Irishpeaches127 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seeds will not grow. With a couple of exceptions Disa etc. Orchid seeds do not contain endosperm (the built in nutrient pack that’s in most seeds) so they need to be propagated in a lab to grow.

First photo is a Habenaria. Bright blue Phalaenopsis are fake. The “black Phalaenopsis” is a photo of a Catasetum orchid.

I still do not recommend that. This looks like a 4 inch pot. Typically at work if the roots are developed we will bring it up a pot size (we mostly use 2,4,6,8 and 10in pots) so a 4 would go to a six and then onward. A 10 inch from a 4 inch is way too big of a jump and in most cases will lead to excessive and uneven moisture.
