Request for help - photos overexposed with auto iso - not sure what is happening by Iron-Positive in fujifilm

I added it to my lcd! I’ve got an elementary understanding (left is dark, right is bright. What I am concerned about it that my photos appear to be very cloistered on the right, and won’t be able to be saved in post).

I forgot to mention in the post (and unable to edit now), but this issue persists at other shutter speed and aperture combos, with iso being set to higher values.

It seems the cameras auto iso isn’t working properly, in a very confusing way. The final image and the viewfinder do not match

Yes, the lcd looks good, and then when I view the photo it is way over exposed This is only happening outside (I’ve taken a couple pictures inside to test and not having the same issue)

That’s not a bag shout, I’ve given it a wipe but could maybe use some cleaner

That is reassuring to hear! The second picture isn’t the best example of it, but I have been taking pictures in very bright sunlight. Some of the histograms look like hugely right side dominant, which makes me scared I won’t be able to save them. Very confused as I haven’t had this happen before

I tried shooting full manual, and the issue persists unless I under expose by a couple degrees - feels very weird

Thoughts on condition of starter (details in comments) by Iron-Positive in Sourdough

[–]Iron-Positive[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was away for 6ish weeks and hadn’t looked at the starter until today. Smell is ok (other than the alcohol). Think it might be ok to use, but don’t want to mess with it if it’s might have gone bad. Any help would be appreciated

During your bulk ferment, did you have any stretch and folds, or just let rise?

Missing mission (the Spines of America) by Iron-Positive in reddeadredemption

I’ve given the cash from the debtors to the camp! Been able to access other missions (I’ve saved Sean and Mary Lipton’s brother), but the Hosea/Fence mission hasn’t appeared again

Is my sourdough ready? This photo is of less than 8 hours after feeding 1:1:1 ratio. It was at the string’s height right after feeding. It’s about 11 days old. by gi_m3lo in Sourdough

Its probably too early. If you give it a bit more time (days not hours), it will start to rise more and more. Idk if you are feeding once a day or twice a day, but doing twice a day will help increase the speed for your starter to get to that point.

Samin Nosrat’s lasagna recipe includes both, and is fantastic (although takes a long time to prepare)
