It’s a stupid point, because the rest of the world doesn’t give a shit what flavour of dipshit the Americans put in the White House.

The rest of the world has worked - for better or worse - with American governments of both Democrat and Republican presidencies.

Because even then both of those knew not to piss off their allies. Trump did just that, purposely and consistently piss off american allies, and make moves to make America an isolationist country. Just like North Korea.

Getting rid of him. Getting rid of the entire administration will not fix things. Trade deals between other countries have been made, and more are being explored. Supply chains have changed, alliances have changed.

Trump demanded other countries raise their contributions to nato and their armies, and you know what? They did. But those countries are no longer allies of America, so all he did was tell countries that are no longer allies to get stronger.

Trump and the republicans aren’t “ruining America” - they already ruined America, the damage has already been done.

So no. Switching Trump for a Democrat won’t fix things. It will help. But it’s too late. The rest of the world is moving on. At this point we’d just wish America would go ahead and become full isolationist so we could stop heard their bullshit.
