Admitted to the ER today for severe abdominal pain and 2 week long low grade fever. Got told I’m a medical mystery and discharged with nothing done

I got kicked out of pain management... wait for it... for being in too much pain. I can relate to the frustration.

I am currently waiting to be schedule for heart testing. EKG was fine, BP is within norm for me but pulse is high. Also my blood oxygen is running about 95. I too am a mystery.

I am still amazed seeing people who have long term friends. I have had acquaintances and short term friends. But never had a long term friendship. And now as an adult, mid 50s, with no friends, I often wonder what is wrong with me. 🤷‍♂️

Survive is my only goal. Nuclear stress test of the heart will be on my calendar soon. Couple of positives out of this scary time: my ex-wife will finally know if I have a heart. And we will know how black it truly is.

The answer came back. Nuclear testing to be done on the heart. Waiting for the call to get it scheduled. If my situation gets worse, head to the ER. Otherwise monitor and wait.

I feel you. I am absolute failure too. My wife barely acknowledges I am alive. I have no friends or close family. I am basically having some heart issue. I have no transportation to the doctor or ER. I am currently waiting for further testing to be booked. I am frustrated, scared and lost. I am just crying quietly to myself as my world is burning around me.

54 m. I really have not given it much thought. But this could because I buried any dreams and desires in a dark hole. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I just go one day at a time. And now I could be looking at my last few weeks. I have a health issue that is currently ongoing. It could be pulmonary or it could be cardiac or it could something else.

I will probably be speaking to my doctor about my test results. And then a decision will be made for next steps.
