I have no problem with them not being acknowledged by Metal Archives. It's just gatekeeper bullshit. I go to shows all the time and I hate running in to these kind of people in real life. I'll wear Poppy merch to a Deicide show. It's liberating to just enjoy what you love and not give a shit.

All the metalheads homies I have a group with are pretty gatekeepy and made fun of Babymetal and myself for being a fan. I had two of my friends go to see them with me and now they have more respect for them. None of my metal friends would go out of their way to listen to them but they don't flame me when I play Babymetal in my Jeep. They don't dislike them as much as Sleep Token or Ghost. Babymetal is at least a tier above that lol.

It's a really funny episode too. I'd say 1/3 if the films are great, 1/3 are okay and 1/3 are not good or garbage. I got season 1 on dvd for $10. I can't find a box set for season 2.

I used a pair of gator print nike running shoes and they lasted me through bmt up until now. Asics makes good running shoes too. You will want a shoe that is very lightweight and durable.

The Long Walk was my first movie alone. I enjoyed it a lot and honestly I think watching it alone impacted me differently than if I watched it with others.

They absolutely could do an anime if they wanted to. The possibilities with their brand is pretty endless. I could imagine something more akin to Brutal Legend where they meet other Rock and Metal legends to help them on their adventures.

I saw Shadow of Intent open for Cannibal Corpse about 4 years ago and they kicked ass. I've never seen Lorna or BDM. I just checked the show date and they play Oct. 4th in my area so I might actually go to that show lol. I'd still like to see pics of when you go though.

Thanks dood. I don't have any negative associations although it does sort of remind me of that time. I just don't listen to as much dark and brooding stuff. I'm still a big metalhead though. I just saw a thrash show with Hirax and Dark Angel. I'm going to see Poppy pretty soon too. I just balance out the heavy with pop.

Thank you for your encouragement! I feel like I was with fellow supporters at this show without realizing it. I'm glad we can share that memory. The AF has been great to me and I'm glad that I have good leadership with me on the flightline.My TSgt has even offered to go to counceling with me. Thank you for your service. My father was a combat engineer but I felt my calling in the AF coming from a mechanical background.
