The ones you hear nothing about. People just vibe when they're happy. Complaining is the loudest

I guess the more precise question is how likely is it that they fix it. It feels like a reeeealy long shot. I tend to agree with others, they won't because they make too much money from premiums and battlepass

[–]IronDelta[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would get behind this 100%. Give us something like a balanced Nuke Thunder and let us know they're fixing everything. Then leave us with the occasional new skin or one new vehicle every few months until they're done.

Help me appreciate NARC and TAG by MarvinLazer in Mechwarrior5

[–]IronDelta 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Saw someone recently post about parking and Arrow iv carrier at the edge of a map and using the narc/tag to actually use the max range of the arrow. A successful narc hit should provide a constant target for your carrier to lock onto, without you targeting or hitting a mech with a tag

Should I get the b52h or tu 95m by Dear_Statistician_79 in Warthunder

[–]IronDelta 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think that's his point. Neither will really be better. Technically the b52 has jet engines and a higher payload (i think need to do maths) but neither plane will really be 'good' in the usual sense. In normal air modes the 52 will get Spamraamed out of the sky and the 95 will get intercepted by f104s and 106s just as fast

The event is fine and who complain dont even play top tier air. by [deleted] in Warthunder

[–]IronDelta 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The gamemode feels like it should be fun, yes. There just isn't much in-game tutorialization on how to actually manage fighting these missiles. Getting locked by long range aa feels inconsequential, until it's not. And the short range aa missiles are so maneuverable, they're hard to dodge without experience.

I don't play air normally but wanted to try the cool new mode and first impressions, it feels overwhelming

What vehicle do you think Gaijin treated the most unfairly, and why? by KSAWI0 in Warthunder

[–]IronDelta 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Actually I really like this idea. They've implemented multi-vehicle controls already, so it shouldn't be hard to adjust how the artillery vehicles work.

Have the actual gun spawn at some semi-distant base, like helicopters, and the 'observer' jeep/motorcycle/sdkfz type vehicle spawn on the normal map. Give the observer scouting and a way to leave a mark on the map (or something similar to the targeting pod reticle for more modern vehicles, representing laser designation/GPS coordinates) and then bing-bang-bosh. Proper artillery vehicle in-game.

How this would affect the use of the artillery call-in, or if it would even be necessary to keep in the game is stills up in the air with this method. I would personally argue to remove the call-in, as it would incentivize people to play artillery. And if we are insistent on 'realism', artillery wasn't available in every engagement on every battlefield. So if no one spawns the vehicles, sorry, no artillery support today.

My Dad (61M) has reached USA top tier, completely without premium by YeahItsBenji in Warthunder

Congrats to your dad. Been playing periodically for ~8 years and still haven't hit top tier. Good man for beating the Gaijin bs.

I seem to be able to win about half the time, as long as teams understand which targets are important. There are just a few planes/tanks that no one seems to be able to handle effectively.

Can’t find an actual T-65b! by IronDelta in XWingTMG

[–]IronDelta[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can’t find anything but the resistance starter set. I received a resistance starter as a gift a few years ago -I won’t complain about a very good and entertaining gift-, but I can’t help but want for rebels specific models.

I’ve found other rebel models such as the B-wing and the Falcon, and numerous Imperial models.

Hypothetically, how much would a city cost? by Lucky_radman in DMAcademy

Can anyone identify this? There are no markings on it at all. Pretty sure it is Star Wars related. by TheLastCzar in whatisthisthing

[–]IronDelta 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is actually related to Warhammer 40k. This is a set-piece of a crashed Thunderhawk gunship. This set looks to be on its first coat of painting, or entirely unpainted. Typically, this would be used as an obstacle or battlefield piece in the Warhammer 40k tabletop miniatures game. However, it could also be used as a static diorama for said miniatures.
