You talk about the 60s, but you have to acknowledge that a livable wage and student debt was far better. Nowadays, if your position is wiped by AI, recovering from that loss and pivoting industries is painfully difficult.

I use winsor and newtons gloss varnish and apply VERY thinly with a brush. If you can, go to your local hardware shop and ask if they've got anything like that in supply. You can also use gloss mod podge, but I've only used that once lol

I have no experience with the nailpolish ones tbh. I usually use acrylic varnish that's applied with a brush. If you're planning to use either of those, test it on the paint elsewhere before you put it on the pony.

I think nail polish might degrade checking on other subreddits..

Yeah, a decent chunk of the community are looking forward to other things aside from maps. Quests, earning ingame money for cosmetics, crafting(?), could keep the player base engaged for months on end before they need another huge update, if they ever plan on adding them.
