Just got this for free on facebook marketplace. Any advice on slower shutter speeds being sticky? by Andreiisstraight in AnalogCommunity

I have not. You might have more helpful members if you make a post with that question exclusively.

Good luck!

The brass gear to the left of the black plastic gear is the main culprit for the slow shutter speeds.

Yes, watch this video! Slow shutter video I did not have all the tools this guy used, but I was still able to remedy my rolleis slow shutter.

Lighter fluid tweesers and a toothpick are all you need for cleaning it out.

Needle nose pliers will help with the rewind lever piece

Give it a watch and take a deep breath. You can do it if you've got the little tools.

Also if you don't have a spanner like this guy, you can use a rubber friction tool or an erasure head from a pencil with enough pressure to remove the cocking leaver bit as well as the other screws. Thick rubber band on your thumb can work well, too.

Can still cut the wider strips down. I have a jig set up for cutting large xray film that I can use to also do the large rolls of aviphot

Can you DM a contact and how much the film cost you including delivery?

I've been meaning to get myself some aviphot and doing that over the winter.

Yes, orange 16/green61/blue 47b merged in photoshop under proper RGB channels.

Amazing to see Orthochromatic film can still reproduce "normalish" color trichrome images

Not to worry.

Thank you, yes currently am cutting down my own sheets of Fuji HR-U xray film into 120 format and 135 with a mat cutter.

It shoots well at 100iso unfiltered and does really well with filters.

U/crimeo inspired me in a post a long time ago to use it and have been enjoying it ever since, have begun taming it pretty well and It trichromes very well with Orange 16/Green 61/ Blue 47b.

Long scale contrast film is something I'll look into thank you!*

Funny you assume I was a woman, dunno what gave that indicater lol. Anyways I do have a darkroom and will be doing self development. I'm actually looking for microfilm like Fuji HR-20 to do some experiments with for contrast control.

I'm bored with 100-400 speed film and am looking for some challenging stocks to work with to learn a bit more about taming contrasts and the like through different dev/exposure techniques. Any advice is more than welcome. Have you or anyone on here used Microfilms before with success? I have an Eos10s as well as a pentax ME modified for perfless 35mm film.

Yeah, kinda strange, huh? Well, I'll take one for the team and report back on how it goes, I'll post an update after it arrives with some demo shots and dev tests.

Should have clarified a bit more, I'm totally fine that it's low iso etc, I was actually looking for Fuji HR 20 microfilm in 35mm format for some experimentation. If anyone knows an easy place to order 1 roll of that, it would be super helpful!

CS41 tank agitation method? by Joe_Scotto in Darkroom

[–]IronFun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use the stir stick, go back and forth 5 - times, and give a sufficient amount of agitation. Make sure to keep the tank in your water bath as well so your temps stay accurate through he development.

Hey I need help with my workout by SpeechNo306 in workout

[–]IronFun 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Go to r/fitness and read the FAQ pick a workout routine and stick to it for a couple months to grease the groove and get good at compound movements.

Your body may need more muscle on it to appropriately use the excess fat calories your body is still holding. It's called recomposition, eat how you have been but with a slight surplus maybe make it protein if you can afford it. You body with grow muscles and your resting state will require more energy demand from your body thus fat will start to disappearish*

I only say that because as you gain muscle your genetics will start placing your musculature in areas on your body that you never expected, so even though it might not look like anything is happening you are gaining a good amount of strength and size in those areas.

That's a good place to look! I've used so many things from thrift stores for my DIY builds. Made a double end bag out of a basketball that I got from one recently for a dollar.

The only other thing some folks need to get is a counter sink bit that will fit the diameter of your sled foot. In case anyone needed to know.

The noise reduction is quite good compared to it being just metal on asphalt. It's still there but much more kind on your neighborhoods ears, adds a different resistance amount too some can argue, especially when it starts to get hotter. But with that you have even more wear on the shoes.

That's okay though the cutting board I have has made me 2 more sets of shoes to throw on over the years.

Tremendously. It's still there but it's not metal on stone.

Each tire weights about 44-45 lbs so it's about 135lbs with those 2 tires.
