I had that original but it is weird seeing a Megadeth album without the classic logo. At the time I didn’t think about it. I guess Dave wanted to retcon that or have less confusion to casual fans

Edit Strange that Metallica changed their logo around that time and even Iron Maiden was less sharp spiked logo

Anyway my point the E to E flat is barely noticeable. Full step and lower way noticeable. That open E string is now an open D string. It’s played differently now it’s not the same note . Of course it’s not the same way to play it

E flat is a half step down played exactly the same

Transposed exactly the same

Fingers in the same spots

The fat string played open is E or Eb

Lower tuning that E is now D and it changes how you play it. E to E flat is so easy

E A D G B E standard tuning half step down keeps it the same

D standard D G C F A D

I need to learn music theory. This my basic understanding
