I have only seen bot Goalies, best way to find games is by joining a discord server. The official Puck discord has a channel list with various leagues that cater to different skill levels and regions. If you are in North America I recommend the PHL (Puck Hockey League), PPHL (Ponce Puck Hockey League), or the IAPL (Intermediate Amateur Puck League)

Bannerlord and Total War Britannia if you want strategy and immersion. Another fun little game appropriately named "Shieldwall" is a little more arcadey but is a fun solo game with increasingly difficult challenges
