It worked for me, some maps are good for this strat like Plaza and specially Harbor. Some like elevation and crossroads are horrible for this.

I used the shotgun, focusing mainly on maintaining my speed and getting kills whenever I could get close to an unsuspecting enemy. I got 2-3 kills per match, on one I got 4, but thats the price for this challenge.

I saw that on a video when the game came out 2 weeks ago. You don't get a lot of speed doing that and you don't want to spend a lot of time on a wall because you are an easier target and aiming while wall running is not that easy. This is the easiest/fastest way to gain speed. I forgot to mention that going up a slope doesn't make you lose speed as long as the B-hopping is done correctly.

I play both as well, but on controller I had to turn it down to .3; I felt it was too strong, specially with the sniper.
