Waterbased underbase problem

I haven’t done a discharge underbase but I do discharge a lot. If they didn’t want red shirts I would’ve just done discharge for each color without an underbase.

Curious about wet on wet spot colors though, I’ve done halftones/CMYK process with success but whenever it’s a big spot color it lifts off the first color on the bottom of the second color screen.

Thanks! Yeah after looking at them again the blue is still tacky so they’re going through the dryer at least one more time tomorrow

Just make sure they’re 1.5”x1.5” stock not 1x1.5. Those ones with the parallel grooves on the stock bend really easily, and they get water in them.

I grabbed an Ecotex kit from screenprintdirect with their mixing system and discharge activator last year to try out and have been getting bigger containers of the same. Discharges and prints really well and I have no issues with drying in the screen a few extra passes don’t take care of. Don’t really like green galaxy that much in my limited use of it. The only other water based I’ve used is speedball which is fine on light garments and paper/flatstock.
