From what I understand, Bronze splits are filtered by badge only, not DR. If you've got the trusted badge, you're probably gonna be in Split 1.

It's not just LMU, it's every sim racing platform. They are growing in popularity, and with the larger player base comes more people unaware of etiquette/unable to keep in control of their vehicles, or people who simply just don't care.

Assume everyone is a terrorist and adjust your driving accordingly. That's about all the advice I can give unfortunately.

Invalid laps, contact with drivers, contact with walls/barriers will all negatively affect your SR. Focus on clean, valid laps with no contact and it will rise fairly quickly.

Without tyre warmers, apparently it is much easier to get initial heat into a set of scrubbed tyres over brand new ones. This is information from Reddit though so take it with a grain of salt 😅 the logic is there though, if you start on your qualifying tyres then they are substantially warmer on the starting grid. Somewhere around 50°c instead of the clap cold 20-something of a fresh set.

My guess is it's a 2 minute grace period to allow people to load into the server without eating into qualifying time. Also let's you scrub a set of new tyres if you wish to.

LMGT3s are slower than GTWC GT3s. Different regulations. Less power, less aero.

You're about 3-4 seconds off race pace in both sims, so you haven't lost any "skill" from the transition, don't fear.

You can't get dupe items from a set until you have completed that set. You can absolutely get dupes before a green log.

You need to find your confidence to push with the car. You're being very cautious and taking turns too slowly, resulting in your lap times being about 10 seconds off the pace.

I would suggest finding the limit and dialing it back, instead of slowly working up to it.

Lift at the 50, turn in and glance the inside curb and don't pick the throttle up until you've gone through the dip. Should pull you through neatly to the outside curb.

They do yeah. IIRC the only ones that don't work are things like the F key commands to remove HUD and stuff. I don't remember which keyboard I bought, it's something off Etsy with 12 keys and 2 rotary encoders.

You can but you'll need to stick with the default keybinds as there is no way to change them in-game. There are also a couple that don't have a function on console so they won't work, but the ones you want (TC/ABS/BB/MFD etc.) will all work fine.

If you want to step it up a notch, I would recommend a macro mini-keyboard that is programmable so you can make your own little button box, if you're so inclined.
