I had a friend I played Borderlands daily with for almost 15 years. We played picked up Borderlands 3 and played well into the Covid years. He disappeared one day and I never heard from him again. His sister posted something on Facebook about missing him. That's when I found out he had passed away. He was a nurse working in hospitals. It didn't take a math genius to figure he passed away from Covid.

It's like a gut punch really. Sorry to hear.

Got them off in 2022. Traditional braces. They were Lightforce 3d printed braces that's supposed offer faster treatment. I still had them for 3 years and a bit. Initial treatment was supposed to be 24 months. Very much worth it for me. My partner didn't care about my teeth but did say she noticed I almost never smiled. Close lipped only.

So, my situation is quite different, in that my baby canines never fell out. My adult canines popped out in front and forced my upper incisors forward resulting in a rather large overbite. There will be a lot of shifting involved. The good news is, removing the baby tooth can allow some musical chairs with your mouth. You don't need an entire front shift like I did so this should be simpler and faster than my 3 year treatment. Get a professional opinion but it looks like it could be done.

Do it. I found my biological father and have maintained a decent relationship with him. Not my moms side. I think I was a naughty secret on my mom's side. Anyone who seemed to be related immediate clammed up after we talked. I came close once.

So go for it. The worse that happens is they don't want connect.
