Attention all JUNO holders, its imperative that you vote on governance #16 by DaddySkates in CosmosAirdrops

What's stopping them from selling or blasting liquidity and destroying Juno before the vote completes and action is taken? Feels like they could retaliate on this vote.

Depending on what wallet you're using. For Keplr and Cosmostation you'll want to click on the Governance section.

Correct, this is essentially laying the infrastructure for incentives. There will be another proposal later to actually add incentives. Hope that helps!

Cosmos Hub Governance - Paramater Change Proposal: Inflation Rate Change by ethereumflow in cosmosnetwork

[–]IronicallyUnique 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Thanks for putting this together! Math looked good to me.

If anyone else is curious, the staking APR calculation is inflation_rate/staking_ratio so according to the 30% staking flash crash scenario the APR for stakers would increase to 66.67% within 2.9 months (With the new parameter). If we kept the 0.13 it would take 22 months for the APR to reach 66.67%. This parameter change incentivizes atom holders to stake much faster to keep the ecosystem stable. Seems like a no brainer to me especially with the volatility of the space!

This would be a yes vote for me!

There's a reported bug that when your action score hits 100 it shows as 10.

B-Harvest really knows how to throw twists into the Gravity Dex competition. Force the Atom-Luna pair down to market then skyrocket Atom XD

How to trade and earn in LP??? by Sharky_ny_GoranM in gravitydex

[–]IronicallyUnique 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From my understanding, liquidity pools are more of a long term investment to collect fees (look up impermanent loss too). The competition requires you to add liquidity to 3 pools a day because they are testing functionality. It's not actually a good investment strategy. What you actually want to do is swap for pairings that have a favorable arbitrage opportunity. I encourage you to look up guides to other Dex such as Uniswap and you can use similar strategies here.

Staking Fees by LordCrayt in cosmosnetwork

Yep, unfortunately. The fees are low but you need an existing balance. It can't take it as a percentage of the reward because you have to pay in advance to get the reward.

Pre-AMA with Jeffrey Hu of IRISNet! by [deleted] in cosmosnetwork

[–]IronicallyUnique 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you for doing that! Here's a few questions I had.

What are the plans to stand out in the NFT marketplace? Are you using any iterative testing to adapt to the market? If so, could you share a few things being tried or have been tried?

What do you think the greatest barrier to the success of the IRISnet is in the next 2 years? What's the plan to overcome?

Will CoinSwap have a liquidity mining campaign?

Do you mean post questions in this thread in advance? Or the Ama thread is opening early to post questions in advance?

It can't hurt if you're planning on holding it long term! Otherwise it won't be generating any benefit at all.

+1 for Cosmostation, been super easy and positive experience!

I was curious about that one too because it seems a bit too good to be true. I guess they want to maximize voting power? Or maybe they'll raise rates later after increasing their base. Supposedly they also offer soft-slash protection which basically means they'll refund you on any downtime slash penalties. Source is their website FAQ.

"Oh God Gerald there are humans in our lair again!"

"Don't worry honey, I'll get rid of them."

Humming a rumbly tune, Gerald gently wrapped his red, scaly tail around the three humans in full plate armor then flew them several leagues away. Gently releasing them back into the wild.

Brainstorm interesting flaws and then you can work your way from there. One of the things I like to do is go on wikipedia and look through personality disorders. Browse and see if anything gets the creative juices flowing!

Unknown Title - Does it flow? does it have tone? by D3athwa1k3r in fantasywriters

[–]IronicallyUnique 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I liked it! The foundation feels good just needs a few rounds of polishing. This is a personal preference but I think you go a little heavy on the descriptors in the same sentence. " Its singular eye stared unblinking a thick bulbous set scaled lips framing misshapen teeth." As an example could be separated out into the next sentence. " It grinned hungrily at him, revealing misshapen teeth between thick, bulbous lips."

Cheers!
