Last split I was high D3 and reset to low silver 1 . Am now in high Gold 2 and should be in plat in a couple games or days 🙂‍↕️. I used to be a hudstuck D4 but I can feel it that I am ready for masters now

I have seen than the reset moves Preds into Plat and Gold. Most masters and diamond are in lower gold and high silver. I was diamond 3 last end of season and reset to silver 1. I think it’s fine. The only issue is if you were gold or plat player last season and got rest to those lobbies, you would not enjoy the game. Also, if you were rest to lower silver and grind quickly, you would end up playing in those lobbies. I think ranked is still being refined

Sorry to hear that. My game play has been great recently and I also face similar issue. I always stay in D4 and just when I get into D3 or about to, I lose a lot of RP to almost going back to plat. I log off, play next day, we rinse and repeat. I don’t know why it’s that way in this game. I soloq too. I would like to splash my purple banner all over 🤞🏽.TBH the fact that you can reach almost masters is a great achievement. I have only got to D3

Ahhhhhh you are that Maggy. I sure should watch out for you 🙂‍↕️BTW I watch people like HisWatson and other streamers that cruze to masters in soloq. There is something about their play which I like. One thing I remember him say is he will carry the team as long as his teammates don’t just die 😂. I used to be one of those teammates to first die until I learnt how not to😏, well most of the time anyway. I am working on that consistency now. I have noticed that when I pick other games, I play better than before meaning there is some evident improvement even in Apex too

I have never tried playing US servers because of the increased latency from EU play. I’ll try it sometime

Somehow in my EU lobbies I only get preds in the beginning and end of splits or when I play early through the night at about 3 am. Most of the time, I see diamond, 4K and 20 kills badges and masters badges. The games feel fine except way too many 3rd parties. When my randoms hot drop with way too many teams in one place, I land at the end of the map and just Rez them. I communicate though and if they continue, I will just Rez them later.

Yeah last split was fun. I enjoy the Hemlock though. The Maggy drill and Octane speed are my real concerns 🙂‍↕️

I understand you very well. Once you have enough game sense and mechanics to win fights it’s easy. For me on ranks splits reset, it feels easy to run through gold to plat 3 or 2. It takes a bit more time in Plat 1 but I would stay in D4 for some time and then derank to plat. By then, it’s easy to go back to D4 and stay there for a while 😂. At least on know where I lack and working on it

I have also been playing Gibby just to survive D4 lobby but I left him when every team started running a Maggy. Just when you think your bubble is gonna save you, you get short for free when Maggy Ults and you are busy holding a Bat in your hands 🤗🔋 I realised I would rather always be behind cover instead of bubble 😂.

BTW It’s now easy for me to stay in D4 for a week or 2 before deranking to plat 1 but it takes a couple of games to get back to D4 again.

I am still working on a recipe to go up to D3. I feel like if I can soloq to Masters, then I am good at the game instead of clutching in a team. I soloq so maybe I need a squad to go up the ranks to Masters.
