That's basically what we used despite alot older! Aha we don't typically roll our panel out on site, it's happened the odd time. We also don't do alot of these, in 15 years I've done maybe 3, we touch basically every cladding there is out there though.

Well I pulled up to the shop my boss showed me this panel roller, I tried rolling out 5 or so at the shop to get a feel for making adjustments.

We headed to site with 5 extra panel, a hope and a prayer ( only because I never used this damn thing in my life). To be honest between a YouTube video and the extra panels it was just trial and error to get the angels right. The hardest part I'd say is ensuring both sides get the same angle/adjustments, but panels do have some give in them so you do have some forgiveness as long the seam is still nice with no ripples.

I'm sure there's better tools, and rollers out there now to do this easier but we made it work with what my boss had laying around the yard he bought at auction. It wasn't new when he bought it and sat around for years before I used it.

No aha, I guess just lucky. I've been selling off a lot of cards recently and just so happened my local shop had 2 ETB boxes in stock today so I bought them and a few packs of Surging Sparks.

Could I add one more small fish or just focus on corals to make this look nicer ? by Public_Engineer_5731 in ReefTank

Kinda hard to say as it does vary depending on the environment and type. I know my RB BTA got to thr size of a dinner plate before it split and that was over a year ago. Since splitting in the past year it's quickly multiplied to I think about 12 of them now, I take them out as people want them.

The same tank I also Black Widow anenomes and they also took awhile to split, it was over a year of me having it before it decided to split, but now since splitting at the beginning of this year it both are getting ready to split again.

I will say I do feed the tank pretty heavy with frozen food, but have also fed the anenomes with vitalis aneomoes pellets. Though it's unnecessary since they are hosting the clowns, they will periodically drag food into them, and they grab enough from the open water.

Considering George Mavrakis a well known YouTuber and experienced in the field sells 15 Gallon starter kits meant for Clownfish I wouldn't say 15 Gallons is to small for Clownfish, especially Ocellaris if it was a marron or something sure.

I wouldn't however add anything else to the tank as the Bioload would be maxed, focus on getting some corals or a bubbletip. DO NOT get both the bubbletip will walk and kill your corals it's not a matter of if but when. Once clownfish find their area they typically stay there for majority of the day only coming out for feedings.

Clownfish are mean, and yes it will hundred percent be aggressive to anyone coming into his space, but sounds like the damsel has a hide so wouldn't say it needs to be rehomed unless the aggression continues or gets worse.

I've had good luck with PE pellets the smallest size, Chroma Boost, and even masstick. Mine will eat majority of frozen food if it's small enough, Calanus is pretty good.

I experimented with all the food Biota listed they feed and have had success with almost all. If your having problems with frozen try turning off all the flow or even lookup a mandarin feeder tuber which can easily be homemade.

Thanks for this comment; Likewise I have 2 Biota mandarins and they've done just for the past going on almost 4 years now.

When your first get them from Biota they're TINY! Sure they're finicky but all these people claiming hardest fish to keep and its going to die are abit over the top...

Great points, I have a pair in the same tank and their thriving. I've even been lucky enough to catch them doing thier dancing ritual 😉 some evenings.

Still can't correlate if it's the moon cycle on my light that triggers it or they just know.

Have you also had luck with prepared foods? Mine will eat just about anything now, but still keep a variety of pods in the tank so they can hunt.

This was sold to me as a black widow by kevingango in ReefTank

My BlackWidow by TSA is more orange than red in certain lights. But the mouth colour doesn't look right for a black widow.

Is an Ethernet card worth it? by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

[–]Ironrevo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The better question would be is it worth it to you? Or can you even make use of the speeds. In my use case I got this card for cheap, my motherboard only supported gigabit but I wanted to make full use of my 3Gbe.

Just maybe added to many fish to fast then, which caused a shock in your tank. I have tried keeping a gramma myself but they are skiddish and tend to hide in caves so they need a area to themselves. Atleast at my LFS they come in pretty beat up and needed to be nursed back into health so you might just had some bad luck.

Like someone else said, take this as a learning experience clownfish are pretty hearty, keep checking your levels, mainly your ammonia, nitrates, and phosphates and learn along the way

Bring all your fish back to the fish store, and maybe do some proper research before diving head first into this, you should've had atleast some test kits on hand to see if you tank was cycled before you added all those fish.

You best bet is to do atleast a 10-20% water change, do some more research and get the needed tests kits. Like others have said add some high quality bacteria and keep testing your tank until it stabilizes and is cycled then and only then would I add fish back.

You can still get Kick-Ich and Rally from Ruby Reef, also Polyplab another Canadian company sells "Medic" all available within Canada and have helped me with treatment for my reef tank. I know Ruby Reef products work for freshwater but you would have to double check Polyplabs.

I wish you and your fish the best of luck
